Official abstract text for this publication.
The guide robot includes a case having a coupling hole and a door type display structure that is capable of opening or closing the coupling hole. Access to the body part in which main electrical components are provided may be easy. An installation plate coupled to a main frame, a slide guide and a guide plate, which are coupled to the installation plate, and a plurality of link type coupling devices coupled to one side of the guide plate and connected to the display unit may be provided to open or close the coupling hole by rotating the display unit after the display unit slidably moves.

What is claimed is: 1. A robot comprising: a main body; a case covering the main body and having an opening; and a display unit connected to the main body and configured to selectively open or close the opening, wherein the main body includes: a lower section having a plurality of wheels and a support plate; a body section having a main frame extending upward from the support plate and positioned above the lower section, and a plurality of circuit boards; and a head section supported by the main frame and positioned above the body section, and wherein the case surrounds the lower section, the body section, and the head section to form an internal space in which the plurality of circuit boards are accommodated, and the internal space is exposed to an outside of the case when the opening is opened by the display unit, wherein the body section further includes an installation plate coupled to the main frame, a slide guide provided on the installation plate, a guide plate configured to slide along the slide guide and at least one hinge provided on one side of the guide plate and coupled to the display unit, and wherein the body section further includes at least one pin provided on one surface of the guide plate and at least one latch provided on the installation plate configured to latch the at least one pin. 2. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the display unit includes: a display; a display cover accommodating the display in a rear surface thereof; and a display support protruding from the display cover in a direction toward the opening, wherein the opening is opened or closed by the display support. 3. The robot according to claim 2 , wherein the display is a curved display, and the display cover has a surface that is curved to correspond to the curved display. 4. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the case includes a support ledge provided below the opening, and a bottom surface of the display unit is seated on the support ledge when the opening is closed by the display support. 5. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein coupling or detachment between the pin and the at least one latch is selectively performed according to a number of times the display unit is pushed by a user. 6. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one hinge includes: a support plate coupled to the guide plate; and a first link rotatably connected to the support plate. 7. The robot according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one hinge further includes: a third link rotatably connected to the support plate and spaced apart from the first link; and a fourth link rotatably connected to the third link. 8. The robot according to claim 7 , wherein the at least one hinge further includes a second link, each of the first and third links has a rectangular shape with a central portion being opened, the first link has a length less than that of the third link, and the second link has a length greater than that of the fourth link. 9. The robot according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one hinge further includes: a second link rotatably connected to the first link; and an attachment plate having one end connected to the second link and the other end coupled to the display unit. 10. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the display unit slidably moves forward and backward based on sliding of the guide plate along the slide guide provided on the installation plate and rotates about the guide plate to open or close the opening. 11. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the display unit is at least one of rotatably or pivotably connected to the guide plate. 12. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the display unit is positioned outside the body section. 13. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the display unit includes a coupling door formed to correspond to the opening and configured to open or close the opening, wherein the coupling door moves in a direction away from the opening when the display unit is pulled out from the robot. 14. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the robot is configured to perform a guide service. 15. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the display unit and the opening are positioned on a rear surface of the main body such that the display unit outputs visual content to a user while the robot is moving and the user is following the robot. 16. The robot according to claim 1 , wherein the display unit includes a first display, and the head unit includes a second display. 17. A robot comprising: a frame; at least one wheel that is coupled to the frame and rotates to move the robot; a case provided around the frame and including a hole; a door coupled to the frame and configured to selectively open or close the hole; at least one circuit board provided within the interior of the case and positioned to be accessed via the hole when the hole is opened by the door; and a display coupled to the door and positioned to cover the hole when the hole is closed by the door, wherein the robot further comprises: an installation plate coupled to a frame; a slide guide provided on the installation plate; a guide plate configured to slide along the slide guide; and at least one hinge provided on one side of the guide plate and coupled to the display, and wherein the at least one hinge includes a support plate coupled to the guide plate and a first link rotatably connected to the support plate. 18. The robot of claim 17 , wherein the guide plate slides along the slide guide to be pulled out through the opening when the door is opened to move the door and the display away from the hole.
