The portion capsule as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter element is tack-welded to the capsule body. 3. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter element is formed or vacuum-formed. 4. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter element has a first end and a second end. 5. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the first end and the second end of the filter element are in each case connected to the capsule body. 6. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the first end and the second end of the filter element are connected to the capsule body by way of an annular seal. 7. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 6 , wherein an external diameter of the annular seal is about 16 mm to about 18 mm. 8. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter element is sealed in a region of the flared feature. 9. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter element is tensioned. 10. The portion capsule as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the filter element has a portion in a shape of a hollow cone.
