Provided is a positive electrode active material for all-solid batteries including a core comprising a lithium-containing metal oxide, and a coating layer comprising LiI applied to the surface of the core.

What is claimed is: 1. A positive electrode active material for all-solid batteries comprising: a core comprising a lithium-containing metal oxide; and a coating layer comprising LiI applied to the surface of the core; wherein the core comprises LiCoO 2 and the coating layer consists of a mixture of Li 3 BO 3 and LiI; wherein the coating layer is present from an amount of from 0.05 to 0.1 wt %, and the coating layer comprises Li 3 BO 3 and LiI in a ratio of 9:1 to 8:2 on a mole basis. 2. An all-solid battery comprising: a positive electrode layer comprising a positive electrode active material and a first solid electrolyte; a solid electrolyte layer comprising a second solid electrolyte; and a negative electrode layer, wherein the positive electrode active material comprises: a core comprising lithium-containing metal oxide; and a coating layer comprising LiI applied to the surface of the core; wherein the core comprises LiCoO 2 and the coating layer consists of a mixture of Li 3 BO 3 and LiI; wherein the coating layer is present from an amount of from 0.05 to 0.1 wt %, and the coating layer comprises Li 3 BO 3 and LiI in a ratio of 9:1 to 8:2 on a mole basis.
