Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

An embodiment may involve transmitting, to a first client device, a representation of a first graphical user interface. The first graphical user interface may define fillable web-based forms. The embodiment may involve receiving, from the first client device, a first submission of the fillable web-based forms. The embodiment may involve transmitting, to a second client device, a representation of a second graphical user interface. The second graphical user interface may allow the second client device to fill out the fillable web-based forms. The embodiment may further involve receiving, from the second client device, a second submission of the fillable web-based forms. The embodiment may further involve determining numerical scores associated with each of the fillable web-based forms. The embodiment may also involve transmitting a representation of a third graphical user interface. The third graphical user interface may show the fillable web-based forms and their respective numerical scores.

What is claimed is: 1. A computing system comprising: one or more processors; memory; and program instructions, stored in the memory, that upon execution by the one or more processors cause the computing system to perform operations comprising: transmitting, to a first client device, a representation of a first graphical user interface, wherein the first graphical user interface is configurable by the first client device to define a fillable web-based form comprising a plurality of questions and to define weights associated with the plurality of questions, wherein the computing system is disposed within a remote network management platform that manages a managed network, wherein the first client device is disposed within the managed network; receiving, from the first client device, a first submission of the defined fillable web-based form; transmitting, to a second client device, a representation of a second graphical user interface, wherein the second graphical user interface is configurable by the second client device to fill out answers to at least some of the plurality of questions in the defined fillable web-based form by data entry into the second graphical user interface or by file upload, wherein the second client device is disposed in a network that is neither the managed network nor the remote network management platform; receiving, from the second client device, a second submission of the defined fillable web-based form, wherein the defined fillable web-based form is at least partially filled out in the second submission; determining a numerical score associated with the defined fillable web-based form, wherein the numerical score is calculated based at least in part on values of the answers to the plurality of questions of the defined fillable web-based form and the defined weights associated with the plurality of questions, wherein different answers to a question of the plurality of questions are assigned different values; transmitting, to the first client device, a representation of a third graphical user interface, wherein the third graphical user interface is configurable by the first client device to view the defined fillable web-based form, as at least partially filled out, and the numerical score of the defined fillable web-based form; receiving, from the first client device, an indication of one or more deficiencies in the second submission of the defined fillable web-based form, wherein the indication of the one or more deficiencies comprises a priority level of each of the one or more deficiencies determined using the weights associated with the plurality of questions; and transmitting, to the second client device, a representation of a fourth graphical user interface comprising the indication of the one or more deficiencies corresponding to the second submission, wherein the indication of the one or more deficiencies comprises the determined priority level corresponding to each of the one or more deficiencies, and wherein the fourth graphical user interface is configurable by the second client device to respond to the indication of the one or more deficiencies. 2. The computing system of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving, from the second client device, an updated submission of the defined fillable web-based form, wherein the updated submission of the defined fillable web-based form contains at least some different information from the second submission of the defined fillable web-based form; determining an updated numerical score associated with the defined fillable web-based form; and transmitting, to the first client device, the representation of the third graphical user interface, wherein the third graphical user interface is configurable by the first client device to view the defined fillable web-based form as updated and the updated numerical score. 3. The computing system of claim 1 , wherein the indication of the one or more deficiencies comprises a description of a deficiency, the priority level of the deficiency, and a state of resolution. 4. The computing system of claim 3 , further comprising: receiving, from the second client device, an updated submission of the defined fillable web-based form; determining that the updated submission of the defined fillable web-based resolves the one or more deficiencies; determining an updated numerical score associated with the updated submission of the defined fillable web-based form; and transmitting, to the first client device, the representation of the third graphical user interface, wherein the third graphical user interface includes a second indication that the one or more deficiencies is resolved, the updated submission of the defined fillable web-based form, and the updated numerical score. 5. The computing system of claim 1 , wherein transmission of the representation of the first graphical user interface, to the first client device, causes the first client device to render the first graphical user interface on a display unit of the first client device, wherein transmission of the representation of the second graphical user interface, to the second client device, causes the second client device to render the second graphical user interface on a display unit of the second client device, and wherein transmission of the representation of the third graphical user interface, to the first client device, causes the first client device to render the third graphical user interface on the display unit of the first client device. 6. The computing system of claim 1 , wherein the defined fillable web-based form comprises questionnaires. 7. The computing system of claim 1 , wherein the defined fillable web-based form comprises document requests. 8. The computing system of claim 1 , wherein the first graphical user interface is configurable, via the first client device, to define a plurality of fillable web-based forms. 9. The computing system of claim 8 , wherein the defined weights comprise different weights for each defined fillable web-based form of the plurality of defined fillable web-based forms. 10. The computing system of claim 1 , wherein the defined weights comprise sub-weights corresponding to subsections of the defined fillable web-based form. 11. The computing system of claim 1 , wherein the defined fillable web-based form comprises a network security policy query. 12. A method comprising: transmitting, by a server device, to a first client device, a representation of a first graphical user interface, wherein the first graphical user interface is configurable by the first client device to define a fillable web-based form comprising a plurality of questions and to define weights associated with the plurality of questions, wherein the server device is disposed within a remote network management platform that manages a managed network, wherein the first client device is disposed within the managed network; receiving, by the server device and from the first client device, a first submission of the defined fillable web-based form; transmitting, by the server device, to a second client device, a representation of a second graphical user interface, wherein the second graphical user interface is configurable by the second client device to fill out answers to at least some of the plurality of questions in the defined fillable web-based form by data entry into the second graphical user interface or by file upload, wherein the second client device is disposed in a network that is neither the managed network nor the remote network management platform; receiving, by the server device, from the second client device, a second submission of the defined fillable web-based form, wherein the define
