Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A light includes a housing including a front face, a first face, a second face, and a first surface arranged between the second face and the front face. A lens is disposed in the front face and a light source is covered by the lens. A power source is configured to provide power to the light source. The first face is angled at a first oblique angle with respect to the front face, the second face is angled at a second oblique angle with respect to the front face, and the first surface is angled at a third oblique angle with respect to the front face. The first face, the second face, and the first surface each define a surface configured to support the light.

What is claimed is: 1. A light comprising: a housing including a front face, a first face, a second face, and a first surface arranged adjacent the first face; a lens coupled to the front face; a light source covered by the lens; and a power source configured to provide power to the light source, wherein the first face is angled at a first oblique angle with respect to the front face, the second face is angled at a second oblique angle with respect to the front face, and the first surface is angled at a third oblique angle with respect to the front face, wherein the first face, the second face, and the first surface each define a surface configured to support the light, and wherein the first oblique angle, the second oblique angle, and the third oblique angle are all different from one another. 2. The light of claim 1 , wherein the housing includes a second surface arranged adjacent the first surface and the front face, the second surface angled at a fourth oblique angle with respect to the front face, the fourth oblique angle different than the first oblique angle. 3. The light of claim 1 , wherein the housing includes a second surface arranged adjacent the second face, the second surface angled at a fourth oblique angle with respect to the front face, the fourth oblique angle different than the second oblique angle. 4. The light of claim 3 , wherein the housing includes a third surface arranged adjacent the first surface and the front face, the third surface angled at a fifth oblique angle with respect to the front face, the fifth oblique angle different than the first oblique angle and the third oblique angle. 5. The light of claim 4 , wherein the housing includes a first side face arranged adjacent the first face and the second face, the first side face angled at a sixth oblique angle with respect to the front face. 6. The light of claim 5 , wherein the housing includes a second side face arranged adjacent the first face and the second face, the second side face arranged opposite the first side face and angled at a seventh oblique angle with respect to the front face, and wherein the first side face is not parallel to the second side face. 7. The light of claim 1 , wherein the housing includes a first side face arranged adjacent the first face and the second face, the first side face angled at a fourth oblique angle with respect to the front face. 8. The light of claim 7 , wherein the housing includes a second side face arranged adjacent the first face and the second face, the second side face arranged opposite the first side face and angled at a fifth oblique angle with respect to the front face. 9. The light of claim 8 , wherein the first side face is not parallel to the second side face. 10. The light of claim 1 , wherein a portion of the housing on which the first face is arranged defines a handle for carrying the light. 11. The light of claim 1 , wherein the power source is a battery pack that is receivable in a receiving port arranged on the housing opposite the front face. 12. The light of claim 11 , further comprising a locking mechanism that is configured to inhibit removal of the battery pack from the receiving port when the battery pack is in the receiving port. 13. A light comprising: a housing including a front face, a first face, a second face, a first surface arranged adjacent the first face, and a second surface arranged adjacent the second face; a lens coupled to the front face; a light source covered by the lens; and a power source configured to provide power to the light source, wherein the first face is angled at a first angle with respect to the front face, the second face is angled at a second angle with respect to the front face, the first surface is angled at a third angle with respect to the front face, and the second surface is arranged at a fourth angle with respect to the front face, wherein the first face, the second face, the first surface, and the second surface each define a surface configured to support the light, and wherein the first angle, the second angle, the third angle, and the fourth angle are all different from one another. 14. The light of claim 13 , wherein the housing includes a third surface arranged adjacent the first surface and the front face, the third surface angled at a fifth angle with respect to the front face, the fifth angle different than the first angle. 15. The light of claim 13 , wherein the housing includes a first side face arranged adjacent the first face and the second face, the first side face angled at a sixth angle with respect to the front face, and wherein the housing includes a second side face arranged adjacent the first face and the second face, the second side face arranged opposite the first side face and angled at a seventh angle with respect to the front face, and wherein the first side face is not parallel to the second side face. 16. The light of claim 13 , wherein a portion of the housing on which the first face is arranged defines a handle for carrying the light. 17. The light of claim 13 , wherein the power source is a battery pack that is receivable in a receiving port arranged on the housing opposite the front face. 18. The light of claim 17 , further comprising a locking mechanism that is configured to inhibit removal of the battery pack from the receiving port when the battery pack is in the receiving port. 19. A light comprising: a housing including a front face, a first face, a second face, and a first surface arranged adjacent the first face; a lens coupled to the front face; a light source covered by the lens; and a power source configured to provide power to the light source, wherein the first face is angled at a first oblique angle with respect to the front face, the second face is angled at a second oblique angle with respect to the front face, and the first surface is angled at a third oblique angle with respect to the front face, wherein the first face, the second face, and the first surface each define a surface configured to support the light, wherein the first oblique angle, the second oblique angle, and the third oblique angle are all different from one another, and wherein a portion of the housing on which first face is arranged defines a handle for carrying the light. 20.
