The invention claimed is: 1. A wear part for earth working equipment comprising a wearable body for engaging the ground during operation of the earth working equipment, at least one electronic sensor located within the wearable body for detecting strain in the wearable body and wirelessly transmitting such information for use in making an assessment by a programmable logic device. 2. The wear part of claim 1 wherein the wearable body has a configuration for securing to a bucket. 3. A wear part for earth working equipment comprising a wearable body for engaging the ground during operation of the earth working equipment, at least one electronic sensor located within the wearable body for detecting loads applied against the wearable body and wirelessly transmitting such information for use in making an assessment by a programmable logic device. 4. The wear part of claim 3 wherein the wearable body has a configuration for securing to a bucket. 5. A wear part for earth working equipment comprising a wearable body for engaging the ground during operation of the earth working equipment, at least one electronic sensor located within the wearable body for detecting acceleration in the wearable body and wirelessly transmitting such information for use in making an assessment by a programmable logic device. 6. The wear part of claim 5 wherein the wearable body has a configuration for securing to a bucket.
