A cartridge, an analysis system and a method for analyzing, in particular, a biological sample, wherein a first group having one or more valves and a second group having one or more valves can be or are actuated from different sides of the cartridge.
Opening claim text (preview).
What is claimed is: 1. A cartridge for testing a biological sample, comprising: a fluid system having a plurality of channels and a plurality of valves for controlling flow of at least one of a sample or a fluid through the fluid system, wherein the valves comprise a first group having at least one valve and a second group having at least one valve, the valves of the first group being actuatable from a different side of the cartridge from the valves of the second group, and wherein the valves of the first group are irreversibly openable and cannot be closed after being opened. 2. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the first group is arranged on a front of the cartridge and the second group is arranged on a back of the cartridge. 3. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the first group and the second group are arranged on a respective flat side of the cartridge. 4. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the valves of at least one of the first group or second group are mechanically actuatable. 5. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the valves of the second group are automatically openable or closable. 6. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the valves comprise a wall or film that is flexible or elastically deformable at least in part, the valves being actuated by the wall or film being elastically deformed. 7. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the cartridge comprises an at least substantially planar or flat support. 8. The cartridge according to claim 7 , wherein at least one of the channels, the valves of the first group or the valves of the second group are formed by depressions in the support. 9. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the cartridge is card-shaped. 10. The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the cartridge comprises a storage cavity for a reagent, wherein one valve of the first group is arranged upstream and another valve of the first group is arranged downstream of the storage cavity, so that the storage cavity is closed in a storage-stable manner by the upstream and downstream arranged valves of the first group when said upstream and downstream arranged valves are unactuated, and wherein a respective valve of the second group is arranged immediately next to each of said upstream and downstream valves of the first group. 11. A cartridge for testing a biological sample, comprising: a fluid system having a plurality of channels and a plurality of valves for controlling flow of at least one of a sample or a fluid through the fluid system, wherein the valves comprise a first group having at least one valve and a second group having at least one valve, the valves of the first group being actuatable from a different side of the cartridge from the valves of the second group, and wherein the valves of the first group are irreversibly closable and cannot be opened after being closed. 12. The cartridge according to claim 11 , wherein the first group is arranged on a front of the cartridge and the second group is arranged on a back of the cartridge. 13. The cartridge according to claim 11 , wherein the first group and the second group are arranged on a respective flat side of the cartridge. 14. The cartridge according to claim 11 , wherein the valves of at least one of the first group or second group are mechanically actuatable. 15. The cartridge according to claim 11 , wherein the valves of the second group are automatically openable or closable.
