Embodiments of the current invention include methods and compositions for regulating the activity of hormone receptors.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method of inhibiting hormone receptor activation comprising administering to a subject in need of hormone receptor inhibition a compound having a chemical structure of Formula I wherein the method further comprises administering chemotherapy or radiation treatments. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the hormone receptor is the androgen receptor. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the subject has prostatic hyperplasia or neoplasia. 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the subject has prostate cancer. 5. A method of treating prostate cancer comprising administering to a subject having prostate cancer a compound having a chemical structure of Formula I
