What is claimed is: 1. A method of killing and/or preventing the growth of a protozoa, comprising contacting the protozoa with an effective amount of 2-chloro-N-(1-hydroxy-3,3-dimethyl-1,3-dihydrobenzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-6-yl)-4-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)benzamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, thereby killing and/or preventing the growth of the protozoa. 2. A method of killing and/or preventing the growth of a protozoa in a human, comprising administering to the human, in need of such treatment, a therapeutically effective amount of 2-chloro-N-(1-hydroxy-3,3-dimethyl-1,3-dihydrobenzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-6-yl)-4-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)benzamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, thereby killing and/or preventing the growth of the protozoa. 3. A method of killing and/or preventing the growth of a parasite in a human, comprising administering to the human, in need of such treatment, a therapeutically effective amount of 2-chloro-N-(1-hydroxy-3,3-dimethyl-1,3-dihydrobenzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-6-yl)-4-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)benzamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, thereby killing and/or preventing the growth of the parasite.
