Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Methods and systems for providing dynamic content during payment transactions are described herein. A user identifier stored on a client device of a user is transmitted to a payment service provider in response to the user's interaction with a user interface associated with a merchant. Based on the user identifier, dynamic content specific to the user is retrieved from the payment service provider. The dynamic content may include an available account balance with the payment service provider, merchant rating associated with the merchant, and other information that may assist the user in determining whether to engage in an online transaction with the merchant. The dynamic content may then be provided to the client device.

What is claimed is: 1. A service provider system comprising: a non-transitory memory storing instructions; and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to execute the instructions to cause the service provider system to perform operations comprising: receiving user information associated with a user from a merchant system; determining, from a plurality of accounts, an account corresponding to the user based on the user information; in response to determining the account, determining dynamic content to be transmitted to a user device of the user; and causing the dynamic content to be provided to the user device without requiring the user device to communicate with the service provider system. 2. The service provider system of claim 1 , wherein the causing the dynamic content to be provided to the user device is performed via the merchant system. 3. The service provider system of claim 1 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more browsing habits of the user. 4. The service provider system of claim 1 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more previous transactions corresponding to the user. 5. The service provider system of claim 1 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more products viewed by the user. 6. The service provider system of claim 1 , wherein the user information includes a user identifier associated with the user. 7. The service provider system of claim 1 , wherein the dynamic content is determined based on information associated with the account of the plurality of accounts. 8. A method comprising: receiving, by one or more hardware processors associated with a service provider system, user information associated with a user from a merchant system; determining, by the one or more hardware processors from a plurality of accounts, an account corresponding to the user based on the user information; in response to determining the account, determining, by the one or more hardware processors, dynamic content to be transmitted to a user device of the user; and causing, by the one or more hardware processors, the dynamic content to be provided to the user device without requiring the user device to communicate with the service provider system. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the causing the dynamic content to be provided to the user device is performed via the merchant system. 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more browsing habits of the user. 11. The method of claim 8 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more previous transactions corresponding to the user. 12. The method of claim 8 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more products viewed by the user. 13. The method of claim 8 , wherein the user information includes a user identifier associated with the user. 14. The method of claim 8 , wherein the dynamic content is determined based on the user information. 15. A non-transitory machine-readable medium having stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising: receiving user information associated with a user from a merchant system; determining, from a plurality of accounts, an account corresponding to the user based on the user information; in response to determining the account, determining dynamic content to be transmitted to a user device of the user; and causing the dynamic content to be provided to the user device without requiring the user device to communicate with the machine. 16. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the causing the dynamic content to be provided to the user device is performed via the merchant system. 17. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more browsing habits of the user. 18. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more previous transactions corresponding to the user. 19. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the user information includes information associated with one or more products viewed by the user. 20. The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the dynamic content is determined based on the user information.
