Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Provided herein are method, apparatus, and computer program products for automatically outputting a wearer interface or a redemption interface. The wearer interface and the redemption interface may contain information related to a wearer of a wearable device and a provider respectively. The wearable device may reference a merchant redemption parameters database to facilitate the output of the redemption interface, and the wearable device my reference a wearer parameters database to facilitate the output of the wearer interface. Both the wearer interface and the redemption interface may be displayed on the wearable device by an interactive display.

The invention claimed is: 1. A wearable device that is movable between a wearer facing position and a redemption position, the wearable device comprising at least a processor and a memory associated with the processor having computer coded instructions therein, the wearable device further comprising: an interactive display; an orientation module and an adaptation module, coupled with the processor, configured to: determine, by the orientation module, the wearable device is oriented in the wearer facing position; generate, by the adaptation module, a wearer interface comprising a relevant wearer component set, the relevant wearer component set based on a first data set retrieved from a wearer parameters database, a merchant redemption parameters database, or a combination of the merchant redemption parameters database and the wearer parameters database; output, by the adaptation module, the wearer interface to the interactive display; determine, by the orientation module, the wearable device is oriented in the redemption facing position; generate, by the adaptation module, a redemption interface comprising a relevant redemption component set, the relevant redemption component set based on a second data set retrieved from the wearer parameters database, the merchant redemption parameters database, or the combination of the merchant redemption parameters database and the wearer parameters database; and output, by the adaptation module, the redemption interface to the interactive display. 2. The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the first data set includes biographical data associated with a wearer of the wearable device, and wherein the wearable device is further configured to: determine, by the adaptation module, for at least a first relevant wearer component from the relevant wearer component set, a relevant wearer component format based on the biographical data associated with the wearer, wherein the redemption interface comprises the relevant wearer component output based on the relevant wearer component format. 3. The wearable device of claim 1 , further configured to: determine, by the orientation model, the wearable device is oriented in a non-interactive position; generate, by the adaptation module, a non-interactive interface comprising a relevant non-interactive component set, the relevant non-interactive component set determined based on a third data set retrieved from a non-interactive database; and output, by the adaptation module, the non-interactive interface to the interactive display. 4. The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the relevant redemption component set comprises a redemption code, the wearable device further configured to: determine, by the adaptation module and based on merchant preference data of the second data set, a redemption code format, wherein the redemption code is output based on the redemption code format. 5. The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the first data set comprises profile data, further configured to: receive, by the adaptation module in response to user input, a profile identifier; and retrieve, by the adaptation module, at least the profile data from the wearer parameters database based on the profile identifier. 6. The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein to generate the wearer interface comprising the relevant wearer component set based on the first data set, the wearable device further configured to: retrieve, by the adaptation module, at least the second data set from the wearer parameters database, the merchant redemption parameters database, or the combination of the wearer parameters database and the merchant redemption parameters database; provide, to a relevance system, at least the second data set; receive, from the relevance system, relevancy scores associated with a suggested wearer component set; and determine the relevant wearer component set from the suggested wearer component set based on the relevancy scores. 7. The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein the second data set is retrieved from the merchant redemption parameters database, and wherein the adaptation module is configured to not access the wearer parameters database when determined oriented in the redemption facing position. 8. A method for presenting one or more interfaces on a wearable device, the method comprising: determining, via an orientation module, the wearable device is oriented in a wearer facing position; generating, via an adaptation module, a wearer interface comprising a relevant wearer component set, the relevant wearer component set based on a first data set retrieved from a wearer parameters database, a merchant redemption parameters database, or a combination of the merchant redemption parameters database and the wearer parameters database; outputting, via the adaptation module, the wearer interface to an interactive display of the wearable device; determining, via the orientation module, the wearable device is oriented in the redemption facing position; generating, via the adaptation module, a redemption interface comprising a relevant redemption component set, the relevant redemption component set based on a second data set retrieved from the wearer parameters database, the merchant redemption parameters database, or the combination of the merchant redemption parameters database and the wearer parameters database; and outputting, via the adaptation module, the redemption interface to the interactive display. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the first data set includes biographical data associated with a wearer of the wearable device, the method further comprising: determining, via the adaptation module, for at least a first relevant wearer component from the relevant wearer component set, a relevant wearer component format based on the biographical data associated with the wearer, wherein the redemption interface comprises the relevant wearer component output based on the relevant wearer component format. 10. The method of claim 8 , further comprising: determining, via the orientation module, the wearable device is oriented in a non-interactive position; generating, via the adaptation module, a non-interactive interface comprising a relevant non-interactive component set, the relevant non-interactive component set determined based on a third data set retrieved from a non-interactive database; and outputting, via the adaptation module, the non-interactive interface to the interactive display. 11. The method of claim 8 , wherein the relevant redemption component set comprises a redemption code, the method further comprising: determining, via the adaptation module, based on merchant preference data of the second data set, a redemption code format, wherein the redemption code is output based on the redemption code format. 12. The method of claim 8 , wherein the first data set comprises profile data, the method further comprising: receiving, via the adaptation module, in response to user input, a profile identifier; and retrieving, via the adaptation module, at least the profile data from the wearer parameters database based on the profile identifier. 13. The method of claim 8 , wherein to generate the wearer interface comprising the relevant wearer component set based on the first data set, the method further comprising: retrieving, via the adaptation module, at least the second data set from the wearer parameters database, the merchant redemption parameters database, or the combination of the wearer parameters database and the merchant redemption parameters database; providing, to a relevance system, at least the second data set; receiving, from the
