The invention relates to a dental prosthesis, produced from a one-piece or two-piece prosthesis blank which is constructed from a gum-colored material and a tooth-colored material ( 32 ), in particular in each case on a plastic base. It is characterized by the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) of the blank ( 10 ) which, in the blank state, has a size larger than a human dental arch. It is in particular at least 8 cm wide. The invention is further characterized in that the gum-colored and the tooth-colored material ( 10 and 32 ) are intensively connected to each other, whether by one-piece production, by adhesive bonding or by polymerization, in particular by polymerization. Viewed along the course of the dental arch, the interface between the materials has an undulating shape and, viewed in the vestibular direction, has a radial shape.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. A one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank comprising a gum-colored material and a tooth-colored material ( 32 ), said gum-colored and said tooth-colored material ( 10 and 32 ) being connected to each other at connecting surfaces, wherein viewed along the course of the connecting surfaces, an interface between the materials has an undulating shape and, viewed in a vestibular direction, has a radial shape wherein the undulating surface comprises a wave shape ( 14 ), the wave shape, comprising wave troughs ( 20 ) and wave crests ( 18 ), is expanded from a center point in a radial manner, such that the wave troughs ( 20 ) and the wave crests ( 18 ), viewed along the course of the connecting surfaces, exhibit a consistent angular position in a radial manner. 2. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) is arranged in a shape of an arch forming a tooth arch blank, wherein the width of the arch ( 16 ) is between 0.8 cm and 4 cm. 3. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the undulating shape ( 14 ) is configured substantially as a sine wave or as a catenary or as a hybrid form thereof comprising an amplitude and/or period which is consistent or which changes or varies along a course of the wave, catenary or hybrid form. 4. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the wave troughs ( 20 ) and wave crests ( 18 ) comprise characterized in that a height and/or width of the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) that increases from an inner point to an outer point, in a vestibular direction, and wherein an interface of the connecting surfaces of the materials is configured in a catenary-shaped manner. 5. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , for forming into a finished prosthesis ( 34 ), wherein the gum-colored material forms a gingiva section and the tooth-colored material forms a tooth or teeth, the tooth or teeth comprising tooth-colored wave crests, wherein every tooth-colored wave crest ( 18 ) follows an exposed edge of the tooth at a tooth neck with respect to the gingiva formed by the gum-colored material. 6. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , for forming into a finished prosthesis ( 34 ), wherein with the finished prosthesis the gum-colored material ( 10 ) is removed, at least partially to such an extent that, on a vestibular side, the parting line between the tooth-colored and gum-colored materials ( 32 and 10 ) milled to be convex, recedes as a gingival line ( 26 ), both with respect to the remaining gum-colored and tooth-colored material ( 32 ). 7. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the gum-colored material ( 10 ) is configured as a disk, and wherein the gum-colored material ( 10 ) has an upper side that comprises a pattern of radially extending wave lines, said pattern forming the exact negative form of a corresponding pattern of the tooth-colored material ( 32 ). 8. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) is configured to positively match the gum-colored material and is receivable. 9. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) is cast into a recess ( 12 ) of the gum-colored material, wherein the gum-colored material is provided with a wave-shaped profiling, and the tooth-colored material is polymerized. 10. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , for forming into a prosthesis comprising a gingival line formed at a point where the gum-colored material meets the tooth-colored material, wherein a spatial form of the prosthesis is determined by a CAD/CAM device, said CAD/CAM device comprising a control device which displaces the gingival line ( 26 ) in the radial direction of the radial shape depending on the desired tooth width, and also suggests and determines after user intervention the individual tooth shape, the rotation and/or the angulation of the teeth. 11. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the control device determines individual tooth shapes, the rotation and/or the angulation of the teeth and the shape of the prosthesis base which are produced together from the gum-colored material by milling. 12. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the tooth-colored material ( 10 ) is configured to have several layers, wherein layers or regions near or adjacent the gum-colored material are configured to be darker and/or more opaque, and regions distant from the gum-colored material are configured to be brighter and/or more translucent, wherein interfaces between layers near or adjacent the gum-colored material are undulating/radial, but less pronounced than an interface between the several layers of the tooth colored materials. 13. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the disk or the element made of tooth-colored material ( 32 ) has an increasing height in the direction of the rays radially towards the outside, corresponding to a larger tooth height. 14. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the gum-colored material and the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) are fabricated of a plastic material. 15. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) of the blank ( 10 ) has a size larger than a human dental arch. 16. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the gum-colored material and the tooth-colored material ( 32 ) are intensively connected to one another such that gum-colored material and the tooth-colored material penetrate into one another. 17. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the width of the arch ( 16 ) is between 1.2 cm and 3 cm. 18. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the catenary comprises suspension points of a chain that correspond to interdental spaces, said suspension points being flattened and/or rounded off contrary to a pure catenary. 19. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the gum-colored material ( 10 ) is removed by milling. 20. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the disk has a standard diameter of approximately 98 mm. 21. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 8 comprising up to five parts of gum-colored material and tooth-colored material ( 32 ). 22. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 8 comprising a material of different strength than the gum-colored and tooth-colored materials and wherein said material of different strength is for joining the connecting surfaces of the gum-colored and tooth-colored materials. 23. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 22 , wherein said material of different strength comprises a material of higher strength. 24. The one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank as claimed in claim 23 , wherein said material of higher strength comprises metal.
