A VCM is disclosed, the VCM including a rotor having a first driving unit and arranged therein with a lens, a stator having a second driving unit wrapping the first driving unit and being opposite to the first driving unit, a base supporting the stator and having an opening formed at a position corresponding to that of the lens, a connection terminal including a pair of first and second connection terminals arranged at an upper surface of the base, and an elastic member including a first elastic member coupled to the rotor and electrically connected the first connection terminal and a second elastic member coupled to the rotor and electrically connected the second connection terminal.

The invention claimed is: 1. A voice coil motor, comprising: a cover comprising an upper plate and a lateral plate extending from the upper plate; a bobbin disposed in the cover; a coil disposed on the bobbin; a magnet disposed between the coil and the lateral plate of the cover; a base below the bobbin and coupled with the lateral plate of the cover; a lower elastic member comprising an inner part coupled to the bobbin, an outer part coupled to the base, and a connection part connecting the inner part and the outer part; and a terminal disposed on the base; wherein the lower elastic member comprises first and second elastic members spaced apart from each other, wherein one end portion of the coil is connected to the first elastic member, and an other end portion of the coil is connected to the second elastic member, wherein the terminal comprises a first terminal electrically connected to the first elastic member and a second terminal electrically connected to the second elastic member, wherein the terminal comprises a plate part disposed on the base and a first part downwardly extending from the plate part, wherein an upper surface of the plate part faces in a same direction with an upper surface of the outer part of the lower elastic member, and wherein the plate part of the terminal is disposed at a position lower than that of the outer part of the lower elastic member and electrically connected with the outer part of the lower elastic member. 2. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the plate part of the terminal is connected with the outer part of the lower elastic member by a conductive material. 3. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the plate part of the terminal is parallel to the outer part of the lower elastic member. 4. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein an upper surface of the base comprises a first surface and a second surface formed at a position lower than that of the first surface, wherein the outer part of the lower elastic member is disposed on the first surface of the base, and wherein the plate part of the terminal is disposed on the second surface of the base. 5. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the base comprises a groove formed on an outer lateral surface of the base, and wherein at least a portion of the first part of the terminal is exposed by the groove of the base. 6. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the terminal comprises a second part extending from the plate part and inserted into the base. 7. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the base comprises a recess in which the plate part of the terminal is disposed. 8. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the first part of the terminal downwardly protrudes from a lower end of the lateral plate of the cover. 9. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the plate part of the terminal is overlapped to the outer part of the lower elastic member in a vertical direction. 10. The voice coil motor of claim 2 , wherein the outer part of the lower elastic member comprises a hole coupled with the conductive material. 11. The voice coil motor of claim 6 , wherein the second part of the terminal lies in a same plane as the plate part of the terminal. 12. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the first part of the terminal is perpendicular to the plate part of the terminal. 13. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , comprising: an upper elastic member coupled to the bobbin and disposed above the lower elastic member. 14. A camera module, comprising: a circuit board; an image sensor; the voice coil motor of claim 1 ; and a lens coupled to the bobbin of the voice coil motor and spaced apart from the image sensor, wherein the terminal of the voice coil motor is electrically connected with the circuit board. 15. A mobile phone, comprising the camera module of claim 14 . 16. A voice coil motor, comprising: a cover comprising an upper plate and a lateral plate extending from the upper plate; a bobbin disposed in the cover; a coil disposed on the bobbin; a magnet disposed between the coil and the lateral plate of the cover; a base below the bobbin and coupled with the lateral plate of the cover; a lower elastic member comprising an inner part coupled to the bobbin, an outer part coupled to the base, and a connection part connecting the inner part and the outer part; and a terminal disposed on the base; wherein the lower elastic member comprises first and second elastic members spaced apart from each other, wherein one end portion of the coil is connected to the first elastic member, and an other end portion of the coil is connected to the second elastic member, wherein the terminal comprises a first terminal electrically connected to the first elastic member and a second terminal electrically connected to the second elastic member, wherein the terminal comprises a plate part parallel to the outer part of the lower elastic member and a first part downwardly extending from the plate part, and wherein the plate part of the terminal is disposed at a position lower than that of the outer part of the lower elastic member and electrically connected to the outer part of the lower elastic member. 17. The voice coil motor of claim 16 , wherein the plate part of the terminal is connected with the outer part of the lower elastic member by a conductive material. 18. The voice coil motor of claim 16 , wherein the terminal comprises a second part extending from the plate part and inserted into the base. 19. The voice coil motor of claim 16 , wherein the base comprises a groove formed on an outer lateral surface of the base, and wherein at least a portion of the first part of the terminal is exposed by the groove of the base. 20. A voice coil motor, comprising: a cover comprising an upper plate and a lateral plate extending from the upper plate; a bobbin disposed in the cover; a coil disposed on the bobbin; a magnet disposed between the coil and the lateral plate of the cover; a base below the bobbin and coupled with the lateral plate of the cover; a lower elastic member comprising an inner part coupled to the bobbin, an outer part coupled to the base, and a connection part connecting the inner part and the outer part; and a terminal disposed on the base and electrically connected to the lower elastic member, wherein the terminal comprises a plate part comprising a part inserted into the base and a first part downwardly extending from the plate part, wherein an upper surface of the base comprises a first surface and a second surface formed at a position lower than that of the first surface, wherein the outer part of the lower elastic member is disposed on the first surface of the base, wherein the plate part of the terminal is disposed on the second surface of the base, and wherein the plate part of the terminal is electrically connected to the outer part of the lower elastic member.
