A photosensitive member cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an image forming apparatus for forming an image, includes a frame; a photosensitive drum on which and which is provided in the frame; a transfer member for transferring an image formed on the drum onto the sheet; a mounting portion for detachably mounting a developing cartridge including a developer carrying member onto the drum and a memory for storing information; a first electrical contact provided on the frame and electrically connectable with a main assembly electrical contact provided in the main assembly when the cartridge is mounted to the main assembly; and a second electrical contact provided on the frame for electrically connecting the memory and the first electrical contact portion with each other when the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion.

What is claimed is: 1. An image forming apparatus comprising: a main assembly; a photosensitive drum cartridge; and a developing cartridge, wherein the photosensitive drum cartridge comprises: a photosensitive drum, a transfer roller configured to transfer an image formed on the photosensitive drum to a recording material, a frame configured to support the photosensitive drum and the transfer roller, a mounting portion provided with side walls that are a part of the frame, the side walls being provided at both end portions of the frame in an axial direction that is along a rotational axis of the photosensitive drum, and the mounting portion being configured to detachably mount the developing cartridge, a pressing member configured to press the developing cartridge when the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion, and a lever provided at an end portion of the frame with respect to the axial direction, the lever being configured to move the developing cartridge mounted to the mounting portion upward, wherein the developing cartridge comprises: a developing roller configured to provide the photosensitive drum with toner and to develop a latent image formed on the photosensitive drum, a housing provided with a toner storing section that stores toner, the housing being configured to support the developing roller so that the developing roller is capable of providing the photosensitive drum with toner stored in the toner storing section, with the supported developing roller being rotatable, and a memory unit including a memory and an electrical contact provided to a bottom surface of the developing cartridge, wherein the developing cartridge includes a contact surface located lower than an upper surface of the developing cartridge mounted to the mounting portion of the photosensitive drum cartridge mounted into the main assembly, the contact surface being capable of being contacted by the lever, wherein a bottom surface of the photosensitive drum cartridge faces a conveying path of a conveyed recording material, the conveyed recording material passing through a nip formed by the photosensitive drum and the transfer roller in a state where the photosensitive drum cartridge is mounted into the main assembly and the developing cartridge is mounted to the photosensitive drum cartridge, wherein the memory unit is arranged on an opposite side of the conveying path of the recording material with respect to a part of the frame of the photosensitive drum cartridge, wherein the memory unit is connected electrically to the main assembly through an electrical contact portion facing the memory unit in a state where the photosensitive drum cartridge is mounted into the main assembly and the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion from above, wherein the developing cartridge includes a pressed portion protruding, the developing cartridge being configured to maintain a state where the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion of the photosensitive drum cartridge in a state where the pressed portion is pressed by the pressing member, and the developing cartridge being configured to move upward by the lever contacting to the contact surface when the lever is operated in a state where the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion, and wherein the pressed portion is arranged above the memory unit and the pressing member is arranged farther from the developing roller than the memory unit in a state where the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion of the photosensitive drum cartridge. 2. An image forming apparatus comprising: a main assembly; a photosensitive drum cartridge; and a developing cartridge, wherein the photosensitive drum cartridge comprises: a photosensitive drum, a transfer roller configured to transfer an image formed on the photosensitive drum to a recording material, a frame configured to support the photosensitive drum and the transfer roller, a mounting portion provided with side walls that are a part of the frame, the side walls being provided on both end portions of the frame in an axial direction that is along a rotational axis of the photosensitive drum, the mounting portion being configured to detachably mount the developing cartridge, a pressing member configured to press the developing cartridge when the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion, and a lever provided at an end portion of the frame with respect to the axial direction, the lever being configured to move the developing cartridge mounted to the mounting portion upward, wherein the developing cartridge comprises: a developing roller configured to provide the photosensitive drum with toner and to develop a latent image formed on the photosensitive drum, a housing provided with a toner storing section that stores toner, the housing being configured to support the developing roller so that the developing roller is capable of providing the photosensitive drum with toner stored in the toner storing section, with the supported developing roller being rotatable, and a memory unit including a memory and an electrical contact provided to a bottom surface of the developing cartridge, wherein the developing cartridge includes a contact surface located lower than an upper surface of the developing cartridge mounted to the mounting portion of the photosensitive drum cartridge mounted into the main assembly, the contact surface being capable of being contacted by the lever, wherein the memory unit is connected electrically to the main assembly through an electrical contact portion facing the memory unit in a state where the photosensitive drum cartridge is mounted into the main assembly and the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion from above, wherein the developing cartridge includes a pressed portion protruding outward, the developing cartridge being configured to maintain a state where the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion of the photosensitive drum cartridge in a state where the pressed portion is pressed by the pressing member, and the developing cartridge being configured to move upward by the lever contacting to the contact surface when the lever is operated in a state where the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion, and wherein the pressed portion is arranged above the memory unit and the pressing member is arranged farther from the developing roller than the memory unit in a state where the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion of the photosensitive drum cartridge. 3. The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the lever includes an operated portion, the lever being configured to rotate by the operated portion being pressed and then to move the developing cartridge upward. 4. The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the photosensitive drum cartridge includes a bearing section configured to bear a part of the developing cartridge around a rotational axis of the developing roller as seen in the axial direction in a state where the developing cartridge is mounted to the mounting portion so that the developing cartridge swings around the rotational axis of the developing roller when the lever presses the contact surface, wherein the developing cartridge includes a stirring member arranged in the toner storing section and configured to stir toner stored in the toner storing section by rotating, and wherein a distance between the rotational axis of the development roller and a position where the lever presses the contact surface is greater than a distance between the rotational axis of the development roller and the rotational axis of the stirring member as seen in the axial direction. 5.
