A hitch mount assembly includes a drawbar receiver configured to receive a drawbar and a pin receiver that is supported by the drawbar receiver. Furthermore, the assembly includes a pin that is received within the pin receiver and a latch that is supported for movement between a first position and a second position. The latch, in the first position, is configured to engage the pin and retain the pin in a retracted position. The latch, in the second position, is configured to disengage and release the pin for movement of the pin from the retracted position to an extended position. Moreover, the assembly includes a biasing member configured to bias the latch toward the first position to retain the pin in the retracted position.

What is claimed is: 1. A pin-drop hitch mount assembly comprising: a drawbar receiver defining a drawbar cavity that extends along an axis, the drawbar cavity configured to receive a drawbar that advances generally along the axis; a pin receiver that is supported by the drawbar receiver, the pin receiver defining a pin opening that is open to the drawbar cavity; a pin that is received within the pin opening of the pin receiver, the pin configured for movement between a retracted position and an extended position, the pin configured to attach the drawbar to the drawbar receiver when in the extended position, and the drawbar receiver being detached from the drawbar when the pin is in the retracted position; a latch that is supported for movement between a first position and a second position relative to the drawbar receiver, the latch, in the first position, being configured to engage the pin and retain the pin in the retracted position, the latch, in the second position, being configured to disengage the pin and release the pin for movement of the pin from the retracted position to the extended position; a biasing member configured to bias the latch toward the first position to retain the pin in the retracted position; and an actuator member supported by the drawbar receiver for movement between a neutral position and a displaced position, the actuator member configured to be actuated from the neutral position to the displaced position by the drawbar that advances generally along the axis of the drawbar cavity to thereby move the latch from the first position to the second position. 2. The pin-drop hitch mount assembly of claim 1 , wherein the latch includes a first projection and a second projection; wherein the first projection is configured to engage the pin when the latch is in the first position; and wherein the second projection is configured to engage the actuator member. 3. The pin-drop hitch mount assembly of claim 2 , wherein the pin includes an aperture configured to receive the first projection of the latch; wherein the aperture includes an axial portion and a tapered portion, the axial portion being substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the pin, the tapered portion being tapered with respect to the longitudinal axis; and wherein the tapered portion is configured to abut the first projection and rotate the pin for receipt of the first projection into the axial portion. 4. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 1 , wherein the pin receiver includes an edge configured to limit biased movement of the latch away from the second position and toward the first position. 5. The pin-drop hitch mount assembly of claim 1 , wherein the latch is configured to rotate about a rotational axis as the latch moves between the first position and the second position. 6. The pin-drop hitch mount assembly of claim 5 , wherein the actuator member is supported for linear movement along the axis between the neutral position and the displaced position. 7. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 1 , wherein the actuator member includes a latch engagement aperture that is at least partially defined by an edge; wherein the latch includes a projection; and wherein the edge is configured to abut the projection to rotate the latch between the first position and the second position. 8. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 7 , wherein the projection includes a notch; and wherein the notch receives the edge. 9. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 7 , further comprising a slot that is defined in the drawbar receiver, the projection being received in the slot and the latch engagement aperture. 10. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 9 , wherein the slot is defined in the drawbar receiver and the pin receiver; wherein the projection is a second projection; and wherein the latch includes a first projection that is received within the pin opening via the slot to engage the pin in the retracted position. 11. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 1 , wherein the biasing member is a first biasing member; and further comprising a second biasing member configured to bias the actuator member toward the neutral position. 12. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 11 , wherein the second biasing member is a spring that is attached to the actuator member and the drawbar receiver. 13. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 1 , wherein the drawbar receiver includes a top wall, a bottom wall, and opposing side walls that extend between the top wall and the bottom wall; wherein the pin receiver extends from the top wall; and wherein the bottom wall includes a pin opening configured to receive the pin when the pin is in the extended position. 14. The pin-drop hitch mount of claim 1 , further comprising a view window extending through a wall on a top side of the drawbar receiver; and wherein the view window is configured for viewing movement of the drawbar within the drawbar cavity relative to the drawbar receiver. 15. A method of operating a pin-drop hitch mount assembly comprising: retaining a pin of the hitch mount assembly in a retracted position with a latch, the pin being retained in a pin receiver that is supported by a drawbar receiver; biasing the latch toward the first position with a biasing member to retain the pin in the retracted position; advancing a drawbar along a longitudinal axis of a drawbar cavity of the drawbar receiver; moving the latch from a first position to a second position as a consequence of advancing the drawbar, the latch, in the first position, retaining the pin in the pin receiver, the latch, in the second position, releasing the pin for movement toward an extended position to attach the drawbar to the drawbar receiver; and wherein advancing the drawbar includes abutting and actuating an actuator member that is supported by the drawbar receiver from a neutral position to a displaced position. 16.
