Methods and devices for presenting an interactive media guidance application are provided. In some embodiments, methods for presenting an interactive media guidance application in a user equipment device are provided, the methods comprising: determining a location of the user equipment device; determining a destination of the user equipment device; determining an arrival time for the user equipment device to be located at the destination; selecting, as guide listings, listings corresponding to media available at the destination at/after the arrival time; and presenting the guide listings on the user equipment device.

What is claimed is: 1. A method for determining media assets restricted for viewing to a user of an interactive media guidance application, comprising: determining, using control circuitry, a location of a user equipment device, a destination of the user equipment device, and an arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device; retrieving, from a database, media guidance data, wherein the media guidance data includes availability data for a first media asset and a second media asset; determining, using the control circuitry, from the media guidance data, that the first media asset is available to view at a current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device, wherein the current time is earlier than the arrival time; based on determining that the first media asset is available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device, adding, using the control circuitry, the first media asset to a set of restricted media assets; determining, using the control circuitry, from the media guidance data, that the second media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device; based on determining that the second media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device, adding, using the control circuitry, the second media asset to a set of unavailable media assets; and generating for display, using the control circuitry, the set of restricted media assets. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: retrieving, from the database, availability data for a third media asset; determining, using the control circuitry, that the third media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device; and based on determining that the third media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is available to view at the arrival time and at the destination of the user equipment device, adding, using the control circuitry, the third media asset to a set of newly available media assets. 3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising: generating for display, using the control circuitry, a newly available media asset of the set of newly available media assets. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the location of the user equipment device is determined automatically without user input. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the location of the user equipment device is determined using user input. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving a user input indicating to take an action with respect to a restricted media asset of the set of restricted media assets. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the action is to cause the restricted media asset to be recorded. 8. The method of claim 6 , wherein the action is to cause the restricted media asset to be made available at the destination. 9. The method of claim 6 , wherein the action is to present an alternate air time for the restricted media asset. 10. The method of claim 6 , wherein the action is to present alternate media assets related to the restricted media asset. 11. A system for determining media assets restricted for viewing to a user of an interactive media guidance application, the system comprising: control circuitry configured to: determine a location of a user equipment device, a destination of the user equipment device, and an arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device; retrieve, from a database, media guidance data, wherein the media guidance data includes availability data for a first media asset and a second media asset; determine, from the media guidance data, that the first media asset is available to view at a current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device, wherein the current time is earlier than the arrival time; based on determining that the first media asset is available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device, add the first media asset to a set of restricted media assets; determine, from the media guidance data, that the second media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device; based on determining that the second media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is not available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device, add the second media asset to a set of unavailable media assets; and generate for display the set of restricted media assets. 12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to: retrieve, from the database, availability data for a third media asset; determine, using the control circuitry, that the third media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is available to view at the arrival time at the destination of the user equipment device; and based on determining that the third media asset is not available to view at the current time at the location of the user equipment device and is available to view at the arrival time and at the destination of the user equipment device, add the third media asset to a set of newly available media assets. 13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to: generate for display, using the control circuitry, a newly available media asset of the set of newly available media assets. 14. The system of claim 11 , wherein the location of the user equipment device is determined automatically without user input. 15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the location of the user equipment device is determined using user input. 16. The system of claim 11 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to receive a user input indicating to take an action with respect to a restricted media asset of the set of restricted media assets. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the action is to cause the restricted media asset to be recorded. 18. The system of claim 16 , wherein the action is to cause the restricted media asset to be made available at the destination. 19. The system of claim 16 , wherein the action is to present an alternate air time for the restricted media asset. 20. The system of claim 16 , wherein the action is to present alternate media assets related to the restricted media asset.
