The present invention provides a compound of the formula (I): wherein, R 1 is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group; R 2 is —R 4 —R 5 ; R 3 is —R 4 —R 5 or —R 4 —R 6 ; R 4 is a divalent organic group; R 5 is OH, SH, COOH or NHR 9 ; R 9 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms; and R 6 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms.

The invention claimed is: 1. A compound of the formula (I): wherein: R 1 is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group; R 2 is —R 4 —R 5 ; R 3 is —R 4 —R 5 or —R 4 —R 6 ; R 4 is —R 11 —R 12 —; R 11 is a cycloalkylene having 3-10 carbon atoms, an arylene having 3-10 carbon atoms or —CR 7 R 8 —; R 7 and R 8 are each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms: R 12 is a single bond or a linker having 1-10 atoms of the main chain; R 5 is OH, SH, COOH or NHR 9 ; R 9 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms; and R 6 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
