Systems and methods for maintaining a health-related action database are disclosed. The method may include receiving first information corresponding to a health-related action of a first user on a first computing device; wirelessly transmitting the first information from the first computing device; receiving second information corresponding to a health-related action of a second user on a second computing device; wirelessly transmitting the second information from the second computing device; receiving the first information and the second information using a third computing device; and updating a database on the third computing device with the first information and the second information, where the first information comprises a description of the health-related action of the first user, and the second information comprises a description of the health-related action of the second user.

What is claimed is: 1. A method for maintaining an electronic fitness activity database using a portable fitness monitoring system, the method comprising: receiving first electronic data corresponding to a first fitness activity of a first user on a first computing device, the first computing device comprising a first microprocessor, a first display screen, a first user input, a first satellite positioning system receiver, and a first wireless communication transceiver; identifying stored electronic data in the electronic fitness activity database in a memory of a remote computing device based on the first electronic data; wirelessly transmitting, via the first wireless communication transceiver, the first electronic data from the first computing device to the remote computing device; updating the electronic fitness activity database in the memory of the remote computing device with the first electronic data, receiving second electronic data corresponding to a second fitness activity of a second user on a second computing device, the second computing device comprising a second microprocessor, a second display screen, a second user input, a second satellite positioning system receiver, and a second wireless communication transceiver; identifying the stored electronic is data in the electronic fitness activity database in the memory of the remote computing device based on the second electronic data; wirelessly transmitting, via the second wireless communication transceiver, the second electronic data from the second computing device to the remote computing device; and updating the electronic fitness activity database in the memory of the remote computing device with the second electronic data, wherein the first electronic data comprises a description of the first fitness activity, and the second electronic data comprises a description of the second fitness activity. 2. A portable health coaching system, comprising: a first portable electronic device comprising: a first display screen; a first user input; a first satellite positioning system receiver; first wireless communication transceiver; a first memory; and a first processor configured to: receive a first input from a user on the first user input, the first input being related to a health-related action, identify electronic data stored in a database on a remote computing device based on the first input, the electron is data being related to the health-related action; and cause the electronic data to be modified and stored in the remote computing device database. 3. The system of claim 2 , further comprising: a second portable electronic device comprising: a second display screen; a second user input; a second satellite positioning system receiver; a second wireless communication transceiver; a second memory; and a second processor configured to: identify the modified electronic data stored in the database on the remote computing device, receive the modified electronic data from the remote computing device, and display the modified electronic data on the second display screen. 4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the second processor is further configured to: cause the modified electronic data to be altered and stored in the remote computing device database. 5. The system of claim 4 , wherein the first processor is configured to: identify the altered modified electronic data stored in the database on the remote computing device, receive the altered modified electronic data from the remote computing device, and display the altered modified electronic data on the first display screen. 6. The system of claim 3 , wherein the second processor is further configured to: receive a second input from a second user on the second user input, the second input being related to a second health-related action, identify second electronic data stored in the database on the remote computing device based on the second input, the second electronic data being related to the record health-related action; causing the second electronic data to be modified and stored in the remote computing device database. 7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the first processor is configured to: identify the modified second electronic data stored in the database on the remote computing device, receive the modified second electronic data from the remote computing device, and display the modified second electronic data on the first display screen. 8. The system of claim 3 , wherein the second processor is further configured to: receive a second input from a second user on the second user input, the second input being related to the health-related action, identify the electronic data stored in the database on the remote computing device based on the second input, cause the electronic data to be altered and stored in the remote computing device database. 9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the first processor is configured to: identify the altered electronic data stored in the database on the remote computing device, receive the altered electronic data from the remote computing device, and display the altered electronic data on the first display screen. 10. The system of claim 9 , wherein the first processor is further configured to: cause the altered electronic data to be modified and stored in the remote computing device database. 11. The system of claim 3 , wherein the first processor is further configured to: receive second electronic data from the second user on the first user input, the second electronic data being related to the electronic data, and wirelessly transmit the second electronic data to the remote computing device for storage in the database with the electronic data. 12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the second electronic data comprises an annotation. 13. The system of claim 11 , wherein the health-related action comprises a fitness activity and the second electronic data comprises one of a route distance, a route elevation profile, a route pattern, a route safety profile, a route flow, and amenities adjacent to a route. 14. The system of claim 2 , wherein the health-related action relates to a calorie intake based on a food item. 15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the second processor is further configured to: identify the second electronic data stored in the database on the remote computing device, receive the second electronic data from the remote computing device, and display the second electronic data on the second display screen. 16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the second processor is further configured to: receive third electronic data from the second user on the second user input, the third electronic data being related to the electronic data, and wirelessly transmit the third electronic data to the remote computing device for storage in the database with the electronic data. 17. A method for modifying an electronic health information database, the method comprising: receiving an indication that a user has selected a first electronic input using a user interface of a first portable electronic device, the first portable electronic device further comprising a first microprocessor, a first satellite positioning system receiver, a first display, and a first wireless communication transceiver, the first electronic input being related to a health-related action; identifying electronic data stored in a database on a remote computing device based on the indication, the electronic data being related to the health-related action; receiving supplemental
