Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in a content system supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data across platforms, which data can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide a real-time (or near real-time) push notification delivery framework. The disclosed systems and methods enable the delivery of personalized, location and/or temporally sensitive breaking news to users' devices. The disclosed systems and methods leverage the explosion of social data, expert knowledge and user feedback, all available on-line, to deliver breaking (or trending) news stories to users in a personalized, location and/or temporally sensitive manner.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: determining, via a computing device, breaking news content comprising digital content corresponding to a current event trending on an electronic network; analyzing, via the computing device, said breaking news content, and based on said analysis, identifying classification information of said event and location information of said event, said analysis comprising parsing the breaking news content, and based on said parsing, determining, based on said identified classification information, a category of the breaking news content, said analysis further comprising determining a location of said location information based on said breaking news content and said category; searching, the network via the computing device, for aggregate content related to the breaking news content, said searching based on the classification information and location information; analyzing, via the computing device, user data of a plurality of users on the electronic network based on the determined category, determined location and digital content; identifying, via the computing device, based on said analysis, a set of users determined to be interested in said breaking news content, said set of users each having user data satisfying an interest threshold for the determined category, determined location and digital content; composing, via the computing device, a story page based on the breaking news content and the aggregate content; and communicating, via the computing device over the network, said story page to said set of users. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein said communication comprises transmitting said story page as a push message to said set of users. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: analyzing the user data of each of the set of users to determine when each user is available to receive a message; and configuring said composed story page based on said availability determination. 4. The method of claim 3 , further comprising: identifying a subset of the set of users that are currently unavailable to receive the story page based on said availability determination, wherein said communication comprises delivering the story page to a message queue for the subset of users. 5. The method of claim 3 , further comprising: determining a subset of the set of users that are currently unavailable to receive the story page based on said availability determination, wherein said communication comprises delivering the story page to the subset of users with information indicating that no alert should be triggered and delivering the messages to the other users of the set of users with information indicating that an alert is permitted. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein said breaking news content is a single breaking news story identified to be sent from social networking user on the network. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein said breaking news content is a breaking news story and a development story, wherein said development story comprises content related to trending event, said development story content comprising additional information related to but not present in the breaking news story. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein said breaking news content is a storyline, said storyline comprising a timeline of stories beginning with a breaking news story associated with the trending event and ending with a story comprising additional content related to but not present in the breaking news story. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein said searching for aggregate content is performed for each story in said timeline. 10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: communicating said classification information to an ad platform, over the network, to obtain an advertisement associated with said determined category; and causing communication, over the network, of said identified advertisement in association with the story page. 11. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: communicating said classification information and location information to an ad platform, over the network, to obtain an advertisement associated with said determined category and the location; and causing communication, over the network, of said identified advertisement in association with the story page. 12. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium tangibly encoded with computer-executable instructions, that when executed by a processor associated with a computing device, performs a method comprising: determining breaking news content comprising digital content corresponding to a current event trending on an electronic network; analyzing said breaking news content, and based on said analysis, identifying classification information of said event and location information of said event, said analysis comprising parsing the breaking news content, and based on said parsing, determining, based on said identified classification information, a category of the breaking news content, said analysis further comprising determining a location of said location information based on said breaking news content and said category; searching the network for aggregate content related to the breaking news content, said searching based on the classification information and location information; analyzing, via the computing device, user data of a plurality of users on the electronic network based on the determined category, determined location and digital content; identifying, based on said analysis, a set of users determined to be interested in said breaking news content, said set of users each having user data satisfying an interest threshold for the determined category, determined location and digital content; composing a story page based on the breaking news content and the aggregate content; and communicating, over the network, said story page to said set of users. 13. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein said communication comprises transmitting said story page as a push message to said set of users. 14. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , further comprising: analyzing the user data of each of the set of users to determine when each user is available to receive a message; and configuring said composed story page based on said availability determination. 15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , further comprising: identifying a subset of the set of users that are currently unavailable to receive the story page based on said availability determination, wherein said communication comprises delivering the story page to a message queue for the subset of users. 16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14 , further comprising: determining a subset of the set of users that are currently unavailable to receive the story page based on said availability determination, wherein said communication comprises delivering the story page to the subset of users with information indicating that no alert should be triggered and delivering the messages to the other users of the set of users with information indicating that an alert is permitted. 17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein said breaking news content is a single breaking news story identified to be sent from social networking user on the network. 18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein said breaking news content is a breaking news story and a development story, wherein said development story comprises content related to tr
