What is claimed is: 1. A combustor panel of a combustor, comprising: a combustion facing surface comprising a metallic coating and a ceramic coating; a cooling surface opposite the combustion facing surface; and heat transfer pins extending from the cooling surface, wherein a grouping of the heat transfer pins comprises the metallic coating without the ceramic coating wherein the grouping of the heat transfer pins is an aft grouping, wherein the aft grouping comprises at least one row of the heat transfer pins adjacent an aft edge of the combustor panel. 2. The combustor panel of claim 1 , wherein a forward grouping of the heat transfer pins comprises neither the metallic coating or the ceramic coating. 3. The combustor panel of claim 2 , wherein a first circumferential distance between first adjacent heat transfer pins in the aft grouping of the heat transfer pins comprising the metallic coating is less than a second circumferential distance between second adjacent heat transfer pins in the forward grouping of the heat transfer pins. 4. The combustor panel of claim 3 , wherein the first circumferential distance is between about 0.010 inches and about 0.040 inches. 5. The combustor panel of claim 1 , wherein the metallic coating without the ceramic coating is configured to improve heat transfer abilities of the aft grouping. 6. The combustor panel of claim 1 , wherein the aft grouping of the heat transfer pins comprises three to five rows of the heat transfer pins adjacent the aft edge of the combustor panel. 7. The combustor panel of claim 1 , wherein the aft grouping of the heat transfer pins comprises between one and five rows of the heat transfer pins adjacent the aft edge of the combustor panel. 8. The combustor panel of claim 1 , wherein the metallic coating is a first stage bond coating applied to the combustion facing surface. 9. The combustor panel of claim 1 , wherein the metallic coating is disposed on an aft portion and a lateral portion of the aft grouping of the heat transfer pins. 10. The combustor panel of claim 9 , wherein a forward portion of the aft grouping of the heat transfer pins is uncoated. 11. A combustor of a gas turbine engine, comprising: an outer shell; an inner shell; an outer combustor panel mounted to, and radially inward of, the outer shell, the outer combustor panel comprising a first combustion facing surface comprising a metallic coating and a ceramic coating; and an inner combustor panel mounted to, and radially outward of, the inner shell, the inner combustor panel comprising a second combustion facing surface comprising the metallic coating and the ceramic coating; wherein a first plurality of heat transfer pins extend radially outward from a radially outward surface of the outer combustor panel and a second plurality of heat transfer pins extend radially inward from a radially inward surface of the inner combustor panel wherein a first grouping of the first plurality of heat transfer pins comprises the metallic coating without the ceramic coating and a second grouping of the second plurality of heat transfer pins also comprises the metallic coating without the ceramic coating; wherein the first grouping of the first plurality of heat transfer pins and the second grouping of the second plurality of heat transfer pins comprise respective aft groupings, wherein the respective aft groupings each comprises a row of heat transfer pins adjacent respective aft edges of the outer combustor panel and the inner combustor panel. 12. The combustor of claim 11 , wherein respective forward groupings of the first plurality of heat transfer pins and the second plurality of heat transfer pins comprise neither the metallic coating or the ceramic coating.
