The invention claimed is: 1. A supported catalyst comprising: a support body which is formed by a catalyst composition being supported by a carrier, wherein the catalyst composition consists of an oxide of copper or a combination of an oxide of copper with at least one metal selected from the group consisting of silver, gold, iridium, platinum, palladium, rhodium, and ruthenium, the carrier consists of 10Al 2 O 3 .2B 2 O 3 , and the amount of the catalyst composition based on 100% by mass of the carrier is 4% by mass or more. 2. An ammonia combustion method comprising: reacting ammonia with oxygen in the presence of the supported catalyst according to claim 1 . 3. A hydrogen production method for producing hydrogen from ammonia, comprising: an ammonia combustion step of reacting ammonia with oxygen in the presence of the supported catalyst according to claim 1 ; and an ammonia decomposition step of decomposing the ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen by utilizing heat generated by the reaction between the ammonia and the oxygen.
