Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The electronic watch of an embodiment includes a receiver that receives data from a smart phone, a temperature sensor that detects a temperature of the electronic watch, a memory that stores rewriting target data, and a processor. The processor determines whether the rewriting target data stored in the memory is rewritable with data expected to be received from the smartphone based on the temperature of the electronic watch detected by the temperature sensor.

What is claimed is: 1. A wireless communication device, comprising: a processor configured to: acquire a state information of the wireless communication device, wherein the state information comprises: a value of a temperature of the wireless communication device detected by a sensor; and a value of a remaining amount of a battery; determine a type of a rewriting target data stored in a memory; select one of a plurality of rewriting state conditions based on the type of the rewriting target data determined; determine whether the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; determine that the rewriting target data is rewritable based on a determination that the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; in response to determining that the rewriting target data is rewritable, control a communication circuit to receive updated data from another wireless communication device and rewrite the rewriting target data with the updated data received; determine that the rewriting target data is not rewritable based on a determination that the state information does not satisfy the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; and in response to determining that the rewriting target data is not rewritable, control the communication circuit to transmit data to the another wireless communication device, wherein the data indicates information, to be displayed by the another wireless communication device, on one or more actions to be taken to change the value of the temperature of the wireless communication device, the value of the remaining amount of the battery, or both so that the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected. 2. An electronic watch, comprising: the wireless communication device according to claim 1 ; a counter configured to count a current time; and a display configured to display the current time counted by the counter. 3. The wireless communication device according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to: determine whether a region of the memory corresponding the to the rewriting target data is deleted; determine that the rewriting target data is rewritable based on the determination that the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected and a determination that the region of the memory corresponding to the rewriting target data is deleted; and determine that the rewriting target data is not rewritable based on the determination that the state information does not satisfy the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected, a determination that the that the region of the memory corresponding to the rewriting target data is not deleted, or both. 4. The wireless communication device according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to, in response to determining that the rewriting target data is not rewritable: determine a partial rewriting state condition corresponding to the type of the rewriting target data; determine whether the state information satisfies the partial rewriting state condition; and determining that part of the rewriting target data is rewritable based on a determination that the state information satisfies the partial rewriting state condition; and in response to determining that part of the rewriting target data is rewritable, control the communication circuit to receive at least a part of the updated data from the another wireless communication device and rewrite the part of the rewriting target data with the part of the updated data received. 5. An electronic watch comprising: the wireless communication device according to claim 1 ; the sensor; the communication circuit; a counter configured to count a current time; a global positioning system (GPS) receiver configured to receive signals from a GPS satellite; and a display, wherein the processor is configured to: control the display to display the current time counted by the counter; determine a location of the electronic watch based on the signals from the GPS satellite received, and control the display to display the location determined; and determine the type of the rewriting target data stored in the memory as one of: data for controlling the counter; data comprising map data used by the GPS receiver and data on associated time difference information; and data for firmware for operating the GPS receiver. 6. A wireless communication method, comprising: acquiring a state information of a wireless communication device, wherein the state information comprises: a value of a temperature of the wireless communication device detected by a sensor; and a value of a remaining amount of a battery; determining a type of a rewriting target data stored in a memory; selecting one of a plurality of rewriting state conditions based on the type of the rewriting target data determined; determining whether the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; determining that the rewriting target data is rewritable based on a determination that the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; in response to determining that the rewriting target data is rewritable, controlling a communication circuit to receive updated data from another wireless communication device and rewriting the rewriting target data with the updated data received; determining that the rewriting target data is not rewritable based on a determination that the state information does not satisfy the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; and in response to determining that the rewriting target data is not rewritable, control the communication circuit to transmit data to the another wireless communication device, wherein the data indicates information, to be displayed by the another wireless communication device, on one or more actions to be taken to change the value of the temperature of the wireless communication device, the value of the remaining amount of the battery, or both so that the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected. 7. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium on which a program is stored, wherein the program causes a computer of a wireless communication device to at least perform: acquiring a state information of the wireless communication device, wherein the state information comprises: a value of a temperature of the wireless communication device detected by a sensor; and a value of a remaining amount of a battery; determining a type of a rewriting target data stored in a memory; selecting one of a plurality of rewriting state conditions based on the type of the rewriting target data determined; determining whether the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; determining that the rewriting target data is rewritable based on a determination that the state information satisfies the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; in response to determining that the rewriting target data is rewritable, controlling a communication circuit to receive updated data from another wireless communication device and rewriting the rewriting target data with the updated data received; determining that the rewriting target data is not rewritable based on a determination that the state information does not satisfy the one of the plurality of rewriting state conditions selected; and in response to determining that the rewriting target data is not rewritable, control the communication circuit to
