The invention claimed is: 1. A method for self-discovery of a presence sensing network comprising: providing a plurality of wireless network devices communicating via a first wireless network; providing a first user device; providing a second user device; providing a remote server; configuring said first user device to form a network presence sensing (NPS) network; said first user device entering the geographic range of said first wireless network; said first user device joining said first wireless network; said first user device discovering at least one responsive NPS-ready device; said first user device forming a second wireless network configured to provide NPS with said at least one discovered NPS-ready device; after said first user device forms said second network, said first user device participates in said second network as a node; configuring said second user device to operate in said second network; said second user device entering the geographic range of said second network; said remote server computer determining the presence of said second user device in said second network via NPS; said first user device forming a baseline of wireless network signal characteristics with said second user device and transmitting said baseline of wireless network signal characteristics to said remote server computer; and said first user device forming a second set of wireless network signal characteristics with said second user device and transmitting said second set of wireless network signal characteristics to said remote server computer; wherein said remote server computer determining the presence of said second user device via NPS comprises said remote server computer comparing said second set of wireless network signal characteristics to said baseline of wireless network signal characteristics. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein said first wireless network is configured for telecommunication. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein at least one or more of said plurality of wireless network devices are fixed nodes. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein said second user device does not join the second network before said remote server computer determines the presence of said second user device in said second network via NPS. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein configuring said first user device to form said second network is selected from the group consisting of: modifying said first user device with additional hardware components; modifying firmware of said first user device; and installing software on said first user device. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein said second network is not configured to provide telecommunication access to the Internet. 7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: providing a first wireless networking device in said plurality of wireless network devices configured to communicate via a first communication protocol; providing a second wireless networking device in said plurality of wireless network devices configured to communicate via a second communication protocol; and wherein said first communication protocol and said second communication protocol are not interoperable. 8. A method for self-discovery of a presence sensing network comprising: providing a first user device configured to operate in a wireless detection network; providing a second user device configured to operate in said wireless detection network; providing a third user device configured to operate in said wireless detection network; providing a remote server computer communicably coupled to said first user device over a telecommunications network; said first user device entering a geographic range of wireless network transmission of said second user device; forming said wireless detection network comprising said first user device and said second user device; said remote server computer performing NPS via said formed wireless detection network; said third user device entering the geographic range of said formed wireless detection network; said remote server computer determining the presence of said third user device via NPS; said first user device forming a baseline of wireless network signal characteristics with said third user device and transmitting said baseline of wireless network signal characteristics to said remote server computer; and said first user device forming a second set of wireless network signal characteristics with said third user device and transmitting said second set of wireless network signal characteristics to said remote server computer; wherein said remote server computer determining the presence of said third user device via NPS comprises said remote server computer comparing said second set of wireless network signal characteristics to said baseline of wireless network signal characteristics. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein said third user device joins said wireless detection network. 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein said third user device does not join said wireless detection network before said remote server computer determines the presence of said third device in said formed wireless detection network via NPS. 11. The method of claim 8 , wherein said wireless detection network is not configured to provide telecommunication access to the Internet. 12. The method of claim 8 , wherein said first user device and said second user device communicate with the Internet via a second wireless network. 13. The method of claim 8 , wherein said remote server computer operates a third-party system based at least in part on detecting presence in said formed wireless detection network.
