Compounds are provided that are modulators of the CCR2 receptor. The compounds have the general formula (I): and are useful in pharmaceutical compositions, methods for the treatment of diseases and disorders involving the pathologic activation of CCR2 receptors.

What is claimed is: 1. A method for treating a mammal suffering from a disease or disorder selected from the group consisting of diabetic nephropathy, nonalcoholic statohepatitis, and pancreatic cancer, comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein said compound has the formula or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein said disease or disorder is diabetic nephropathy. 4. The method of claim 2 , wherein said disease or disorder is nonalcoholic statohepatitis. 5. The method of claim 2 , wherein said disease or disorder is pancreatic cancer. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein said compound has the formula or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein said disease or disorder is diabetic nephropathy. 8. The method of claim 6 , wherein said disease or disorder is nonalcoholic statohepatitis. 9. The method of claim 6 , wherein said disease or disorder is pancreatic cancer. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein said compound has the formula or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. 11. The method of claim 10 , wherein said disease or disorder is diabetic nephropathy. 12.
