A medical image display apparatus including a touch screen configured to display a medical image and receive input from a user; and a controller configured to acquire first information about a first region of the touch screen, the first region corresponding to a touch range of a finger of the user, to select, based on the first information, a first user interface from among a plurality of user interfaces related to the medical image, the first user interface corresponding to a size of the first region, and to control the touch screen to display the selected first user interface.

What is claimed is: 1. A medical image display apparatus comprising: a touch screen configured to display a medical image and receive an input from a user; a sensor configured to detect attachment and detachment of the medical image display apparatus; and a controller configured to: monitor whether the medical image display apparatus is connected to a medical image acquisition apparatus by the sensor, in response to detecting, by the sensor, detachment of the medical image display apparatus from the medical image acquisition apparatus, acquire information indicating a touch input range of the user, configure a user interface for controlling operations associated with acquiring the medical image such that the user interface corresponds to the indicated touch input range, and control the touch screen to display the user interface. 2. The medical image display apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising: a communication unit operatively coupled to a hand-held ultrasound probe, wherein the user interface includes selectable icons associated with functions executable to alter at least one ultrasound emission of the hand-held ultrasound probe. 3. The medical image display apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the medical image acquisition apparatus includes an ultrasound diagnosis device, the hand-held ultrasound probe is wiredly connected to the ultrasound diagnosis device, and wherein the communication unit is operatively coupled to the hand-held ultrasound probe through the ultrasound diagnosis device. 4. The medical image display apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the controller is further configured to: in response to detecting a first touch input selecting an icon on the user interface, change the user interface to display a second user interface for adjusting a parameter corresponding to the selected icon, in response to detecting a second touch input including at least one of a drag, a panning, and swipe touches in the second user interface, adjust the parameter according to movement of the drag. 5. The medical image display apparatus of claim 4 , wherein a different parameter is selected for adjustment based on a type of touch input of the first touch input, and wherein the type of touch input includes one or more of a touch-and-hold and a double-tap. 6. The medical image display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the touch input range of the user indicates an available range of motion of a particular finger of a user's hand relative to the touch screen, when the medical image display apparatus is held one-handed in the user's hand. 7. The medical image display apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the user interface is configured further based on a location along a surface of the medical image display apparatus at which the medical image display apparatus is held in the user's hand. 8. The medical image display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein acquiring the information indicating the touch input range further comprises: receiving identification information corresponding to the user; and retrieving a particular touch input range previously associated with the received identification information, wherein the received identification information includes at least one of a user name, a biometric marker, and a predetermined input pattern. 9. The medical image display apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the controller is further configured to: in response to detecting, by the sensor, that a position of a user's hand has changed relative to the touch screen, re-acquire the information indicating a touch input range of the user. 10. The medical image display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein acquiring the information indicating the touch input range further comprises: displaying on the touch screen at least one guide image; detecting a touch input selecting and moving the at least one guide image; and generating the touch input range by analyzing a range of movement indicated by the touch input selecting and moving the at least one guide image. 11. A method for medical image display in an electronic device, comprising: monitoring whether the electronic device is connected to a medical image acquisition apparatus by a sensor, in response to detecting, by the sensor, detachment of the electronic device from the medical image acquisition apparatus, acquire information indicating a touch input range of a user, configuring, by a processor, a user interface for controlling operations associated with acquiring the medical image, such that the user interface corresponds to the indicated touch input range, and displaying the configured user interface on a touch screen. 12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the electronic device includes a communication unit operatively coupled to a hand-held ultrasound probe, the method further comprising: displaying, as the user interface, selectable icons associated with functions executable to alter at least one ultrasound emission of the hand-held ultrasound probe. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the medical image acquisition apparatus includes an ultrasound diagnosis device, and the hand-held ultrasound probe is wiredly connected to the ultrasound diagnosis device, the method further comprising: establishing communication with the hand-held ultrasound probe through the ultrasound diagnosis device. 14. The method of claim 13 , further comprising: in response to detecting a first touch input selecting an icon on the user interface, changing the user interface to display a second user interface for adjusting a parameter corresponding to the selected icon, in response to detecting a second touch input including at least one of a drag, a panning, and swipe touches in the second user interface, adjusting the parameter according to movement of the drag. 15. The method of claim 14 , wherein a different parameter is selected for adjustment based on a type of touch input of the first touch input, and wherein the type of touch input includes one or more of a touch-and-hold and a double-tap. 16. The method of claim 11 , wherein the touch input range of the user indicates an available range of motion of a particular finger of a user's hand relative to the touch screen, when the electronic device is held one-handed in the user's hand. 17. The method of claim 11 , wherein acquiring the information indicating the touch input range further comprises: receiving identification information corresponding to the user; and retrieving a particular touch input range previously associated with the received identification information, wherein the received identification information includes at least one of a user name, a biometric marker, and a predetermined input pattern. 18. The method of claim 17 , further comprising: in response to detecting, by the sensor, that a position of a user's hand has changed relative to the touch screen, re-acquiring the information indicating a touch input range of the user. 19. The method of claim 11 , wherein acquiring the information indicating the touch input range further comprises: displaying on the touch screen at least one guide image; detecting a touch input selecting and moving the at least one guide image; and generating the touch input range by analyzing a range of movement indicated by the touch input selecting and moving the at least one guide image. 20. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for performing the method of claim 11 .
