The invention is claimed as follows: 1. A dialysis system comprising: a dialysis fluid supply in fluid communication with at least one source of fluid; at least one additive; a peritoneal dialysis cassette configured to be placed in fluid communication with the dialysis fluid supply, the peritoneal dialysis cassette including a first fluid pumping portion configured to pump fluid received via the dialysis fluid supply for a peritoneal dialysis treatment, wherein the at least one additive is caused under computer control to be added to the fluid received from the at least one source of fluid and operate the peritoneal dialysis cassette to perform the peritoneal dialysis treatment using the fluid from the at least one source mixed with the at least one additive; and a blood treatment cassette separate from the peritoneal dialysis cassette and configured to be placed in fluid communication with the dialysis fluid supply, the blood treatment cassette including a second fluid pumping portion configured to pump fluid received via the dialysis fluid supply for a blood treatment, wherein the blood treatment cassette is caused under different computer control to perform the blood treatment, wherein the dialysis fluid supply interchangeably fluidly communicates each of the peritoneal dialysis cassette and the blood treatment cassette with the at least one source of fluid. 2. The dialysis system of claim 1 , wherein the peritoneal dialysis cassette includes a first disposable cassette and the blood treatment cassette includes a second disposable cassette. 3. The dialysis system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one source of fluid includes a source of dialysis fluid. 4. The dialysis system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one source of fluid includes an online source of fluid. 5. The dialysis system of claim 1 , further comprising a user interface operable with the blood treatment cassette and configured to display at least one of: (i) blood pressure readings; (ii) blood temperature readings; or (iii) transmembrane pressure. 6. The dialysis system of claim 1 , wherein the computer control includes recalling patient identification information stored on a data storage device or data network. 7. The dialysis system of claim 1 , wherein the computer control includes recalling last therapy information stored on a data storage device or data network. 8. The dialysis system of claim 1 , further comprising a user interface operable with the peritoneal dialysis cassette and operated to display a peritoneal dialysis setup procedure prior to the computer control operating the peritoneal dialysis cassette to perform the peritoneal dialysis treatment. 9. The dialysis system of claim 1 , further comprising a user interface operable with the blood treatment cassette and operated to display a blood treatment setup procedure prior to the different computer control operating the blood treatment unit to perform the blood treatment. 10. A dialysis system comprising: a dialysis fluid supply in fluid communication with at least one source of fluid; a blood treatment cassette including at least one first pumping portion configured to pump fluid received via the dialysis fluid supply for a blood treatment; a peritoneal dialysis cassette including at least one second fluid pumping portion configured to pump fluid received via the dialysis fluid supply for a peritoneal dialysis treatment, wherein the dialysis fluid supply is configured to place each of the blood treatment cassette and the peritoneal dialysis cassette interchangeably in fluid communication with the at least one source of fluid, wherein the blood treatment is performed using the at least one first pumping portion of the blood treatment cassette and the dialysis fluid supply without using the at least one second fluid pumping portion of the peritoneal dialysis cassette, and the peritoneal dialysis treatment is performed using the at least one second fluid pumping portion of the peritoneal dialysis cassette and the dialysis fluid supply without using the at least one first pumping portion of the blood treatment cassette. 11. The dialysis system of claim 10 , wherein the peritoneal dialysis cassette includes a first disposable cassette and the blood treatment cassette includes a second disposable cassette. 12. The dialysis system of claim 10 , wherein the blood treatment cassette and the peritoneal dialysis cassette are each operated under separate computer control. 13. The dialysis system of claim 12 , wherein the blood treatment computer control and the peritoneal dialysis computer control are each configured to cause a chemical to be added to fluid from the at least one source of fluid to prepare dialysis fluid respectively for the blood treatment or the peritoneal dialysis treatment. 14. The dialysis system of claim 13 , wherein the chemical includes electrolytes. 15. The dialysis system of claim 10 , wherein the at least one source of fluid includes an online source of fluid. 16. A dialysis system comprising: a cleansing device configured to cleanse dialysis fluid to be used in a peritoneal dialysis treatment or a blood treatment; an additive; a peritoneal dialysis cassette configured to be placed in fluid communication with the cleansing device, add the additive to fluid received from the cleansing device, and perform the peritoneal dialysis treatment for a patient using cleansed peritoneal fluid combined with the additive, the peritoneal dialysis cassette including a first fluid pumping portion configured to pump fluid received from the cleansing device for the peritoneal dialysis treatment; and a blood treatment cassette configured to be placed in fluid communication with the cleansing device and perform a blood treatment for the patient using cleansed blood treatment dialyzer fluid, the blood treatment cassette including a second fluid pumping portion configured to pump fluid received from the cleansing device for the blood treatment, wherein the cleansing device interchangeably fluidly communicates with each of the peritoneal dialysis cassette and the blood treatment cassette. 17. The dialysis system of claim 16 , wherein the peritoneal dialysis cassette includes a first disposable cassette and the blood treatment cassette includes a second disposable cassette. 18. The dialysis system of claim 16 , wherein the cleansing device includes a sorbent and/or carbon filled cartridge that removes at least some waste from used dialysis fluid. 19. The dialysis system of claim 16 , wherein the cleansing device is configured to add a chemical to the fluid to prepare the fluid to be used in the peritoneal dialysis treatment or the blood treatment. 20. The dialysis system of claim 19 , wherein the chemical includes electrolytes. 21. The dialysis system of claim 1 , wherein the additive includes electrolytes. 22. The dialysis system of claim 1 , wherein the additive includes bicarbonate. 23.
