Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Implementations of the present disclosure provide a system for optimizing dynamic review generation. The system include a memory to store profile data for a plurality of merchant; and a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory, to create a dynamic redirection container for an online review associated with a merchant. The dynamic message container is transmitted to a client device of a user at the physical location. Confirmation is received from the client device that the dynamic redirection container is activated by the user. One or more weighted event factors associated with a plurality of sites is identified based on the received confirmation and distribution parameters specified by a merchant system for the merchant. In accordance with the weighted event factors, the client device is redirected to at least one site of the plurality sites as being associated with the dynamic redirection container.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1. A system comprising: a memory to store instructions; and a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory, to execute the instructions to: create a dynamic redirection container for an online review associated with a merchant; transmit the dynamic redirection container to a client device of a user; receive a confirmation from the client device that the dynamic redirection container is activated by the user; identify a weighted event factor associated with a plurality of sites based on the confirmation and at least one distribution parameter specified by a merchant system for the merchant; redirect, in accordance with the weighted event factor, the client device to at least one site of the plurality sites as being associated with the dynamic redirection container; and update the weighted event factor based on review data for the merchant provided by the client device. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one site is served from a third party website. 3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one site is served from a website hosted by the merchant. 4. The system of claim 1 , the processing device to determine the weighted event factor for the at least one site is below a threshold value, the threshold value representing a target distribution of reviews for the merchant to store at the at least one site. 5. The system of claim 4 , the processing device to determine the weighted event factor for the at least one site is equal to or above a recency time indicator of reviews for the merchant stored at the at least one site. 6. The system of claim 1 , the processing device f to determine the weighted event factor for the at least one site is below a target review rating for the merchant at the at least one site. 7. The system of claim 1 , the processing device to determine the weighted event factor for the at least one site is equal to or above a priority indicator specified by the merchant system in the at least one distribution parameter. 8. A computer-implemented method comprising: creating, by a processing device, a dynamic redirection container for an online review associated with a merchant; transmitting, by the processing device, the dynamic redirection container to a client device of a user; receiving, by the processing device, a confirmation indicator from the client device based on the dynamic redirection container transmitted to the client device; identifying, by the processing device, a weighted event factor associated with a plurality of sites based on the confirmation indicator and a distribution parameter specified by the merchant; redirecting, by the processing device, in accordance with the weighted event factor, the client device to at least one site of the plurality sites as being associated with the dynamic redirection container; and updating, by the processing device, the weighted event factor based on review data for the merchant provided by the client device. 9. The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , further comprising: retrieving the review data from the at least one site of the plurality sites; and tagging the review data as being generated based on the dynamic redirection container transmitted to the client device. 10. The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , further comprising determining whether the review data satisfies the one or more distribution parameters specified by the merchant with respect to other review data for the merchant on the at least one site. 11. The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the at least one site is served from a third party website. 12. The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , wherein the at least one site is served from a website hosted by the merchant. 13. The computer-implemented method of claim 8 , further comprising determining that the weighted event factor for the at least one site is below a threshold value, the threshold value representing a target distribution of reviews for the merchant to store at the site. 14. The computer-implemented method of claim 13 , wherein the one or more distribution parameters comprise the target distribution of reviews for the merchant to store at each site of the plurality sites. 15. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having instructions that, when executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to: create, by a processing device, a dynamic redirection container for an online review associated with a merchant; transmit, by the processing device, the dynamic redirection container to a client device of a user; receive, by the processing device, a confirmation indicator from the client device based on the dynamic redirection container transmitted to the client device; identify, by the processing device, a weighted event factor associated with a plurality of sites based on the confirmation indicator and a distribution parameter specified by the merchant; redirect, by the processing device, based on the weighted event factor, the client device to at least one of the one or more sites associated with the dynamic redirection container; and update, by the processing device, the weighted event factor based on review data for the merchant provided by the client device. 16. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium for claim 15 , the processing device to determine that the user associated with the client device is logged onto one or more sites of the plurality of sites, wherein the client device is redirected to at least one of the logged onto one or more sites. 17. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15 , the processing device to determine whether the user is logged onto a website associated with the merchant. 18. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15 , the processing device to determine whether the user is logged onto a third party website associated with the plurality of sites. 19. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15 , the processing device to determine that the weighted event factor for the at least one site is below a threshold value, the threshold value representing a target distribution of reviews for the merchant to store. 20. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15 , the processing device to determine that the weighted event factor for the at least one site satisfies a recency time indicator of reviews for the merchant.
