A wagon (90b) includes a plurality of horizontal support bars (91f). A separator roll (12b) is stocked while the horizontal support bar is inserted into a core of the separator roll (12b) around which core a separator is rolled. This can prevent deformation and roll misalignment of the stocked separator roll.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for stocking a battery separator roll, comprising the step of stocking a plurality of battery separator rolls, each constituted by a cylindrical core around which a separator is wound, while respective cores of the plurality of battery separator rolls are hung on one support bar such that the plurality of battery separator rolls do not touch each other, the support bar having a circular cross section and being provided along a horizontal direction and being fixed at only one end, wherein the stocking step comprises contacting only a portion of an outer surface of the support bar inserted into the core with only a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the core. 2. The method as set forth in claim 1 , wherein: the adjacent battery separator rolls on the horizontal support bar are stocked at a distance from one another. 3. The method as set forth in claim 1 , wherein: the horizontal support bar includes a plurality of horizontal support bars each having a circular cross section, the battery separator roll includes a plurality of battery separator rolls, the cylindrical core includes a plurality of cylindrical cores, and the separator includes a plurality of separators; and when the plurality of cylindrical cores of the respective plurality of battery separator rolls around which the respective plurality of separators are rolled are hung from the respective horizontal support bars, the plurality of battery separator rolls are stocked so as not to contact one another. 4. The method as set forth in claim 1 , further comprising a step of measuring a weight of the battery separator roll which is hung from the horizontal support bar. 5. The method as set forth in claim 1 , further comprising a step of measuring a diameter of the battery separator roll hung from the horizontal support bar. 6. The method as set forth in claim 1 , wherein: the horizontal support bar includes a plurality of horizontal support bars each having a circular cross section and an identifier for identification of the each of the plurality of horizontal support bars, the battery separator roll includes a plurality of battery separator rolls, the cylindrical core includes a plurality of cylindrical cores, and the separator includes a plurality of separators; and wherein the plurality of battery separator rolls are stocked while the plurality of cores of the respective plurality of battery separator rolls, around which the respective plurality of separators are rolled, are hung from the respective plurality of horizontal support bars. 7. The method as set forth in claim 6 , wherein a storage section is provided, the method further comprising a step of: causing the storage section to store a length in a machine direction of each of the plurality of battery separator rolls, which are hung from the respective plurality of horizontal support bars, in association with the identifier of each of the plurality of horizontal support bars.
