An arrangement for handling narrow rolls includes a flow-through warehouse, which includes an inlet end and an outlet end. The narrow rolls are handled such that the narrow rolls are fed into the inlet end in a first direction. The flow-through warehouse further includes at least two rack rows having a second direction transverse to said first direction, at least two isles having the second direction and carriages that move the narrow rolls into a rack and from a rack and also carry them in the second direction. At least one carriage moves along each isle, at least two isles include carriages that are capable of sorting the narrow rolls, and at least one carriage is sorting the narrow rolls for forming a customer stack. The customer stack is formed of several narrow rolls and delivered from the outlet end to be transported to a customer.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for handling narrow rolls in which method the narrow rolls are handled in a flow-through warehouse that comprises an inlet end and an outlet end, the narrow rolls being fed into the inlet end in a first direction, the flow-through warehouse further comprising at least two rack rows having a second direction transverse to said first direction, at least two isles having the second direction and carriages that move the narrow rolls into a rack and from a rack and also carry them in the second direction if needed, at least one carriage moves along each isle, at least two isles comprise carriages that are capable of sorting the narrow rolls and at least one carriage is sorting the narrow rolls for forming a customer stack, whereby in the flow-through warehouse the customer stack is formed of several narrow rolls and delivered from the outlet end to be transported to a customer, wherein the customer stack is provided on a pallet, and wherein the customer stack and the pallet are bound and wrapped for transportation. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein at least one carriage sorting the narrow rolls returns during sorting at least one of the narrow rolls to the same rack row where the carriage picks the narrow roll. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein at least two isles comprise carriages that sort the narrow rolls. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first direction is the axial direction of the narrow rolls. 5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the narrow roll is moved into the rack and from the rack in the axial direction of the narrow roll and when the narrow roll is moved in the second direction the narrow roll is carried by the carriage without rotating the narrow roll. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the narrow roll is a self-adhesive laminate roll. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein there is a distance between the narrow rolls, and the distance between the narrow rolls is maintained when the narrow rolls are in the flow-through warehouse. 8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the distance is an equalized fixed distance. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein at least two rack rows are positioned side by side, and the narrow rolls are transferred between said rack rows with a conveyor. 10. The method of claim 1 , comprising combining to at least one customer stack narrow rolls from at least two different slitting machines. 11. The method of claim 1 , comprising combining to at least one customer stack narrow rolls partly directly from a slitting machine and partly from the storage racks of the flow-through warehouse using narrow rolls that have been stored after a previous slitting process. 12. The method of claim 1 , wherein there are more carriages in an isle near the inlet end than in an isle farther off the inlet. 13. The method of claim 1 , comprising passing with at least some narrow rolls at least one isle comprising at least one carriage. 14. An arrangement for handling narrow rolls the arrangement comprising a flow-through warehouse comprising an inlet end and an outlet end, the narrow rolls being arranged to be fed into the inlet end in a first direction, the flow-through warehouse further comprising at least two rack rows having a second direction transverse to said first direction, at least two isles having the second direction and carriages arranged to move the narrow rolls into a rack and from a rack and carry them in the second direction if needed, each isle being provided with at least one carriage and at least two isles comprising carriages that are capable of sorting the narrow rolls, wherein one or more carriages of the flow-through warehouse are arranged to form a customer stack, which comprises several narrow rolls, the arrangement further comprising a packaging line, wherein the packaging line is arranged to provide the customer stack on a pallet such that the customer stack and the pallet are bound and wrapped for transportation. 15. The arrangement of claim 14 , wherein at least one carriage is arranged to return at least one of the narrow rolls to the same rack row where the carriage picks the narrow roll. 16. The arrangement of claim 14 , wherein the first direction is the axial direction of the narrow rolls. 17. The arrangement of claim 16 , wherein the narrow roll is arranged to be moved in to the rack and from the rack in the axial direction of the narrow roll and when the narrow roll is arranged to be moved in the second direction the narrow roll is arranged to be carried by the carriage without rotating the narrow roll. 18. The arrangement of claim 14 , wherein the narrow roll is a self-adhesive laminate roll. 19. The arrangement of claim 14 , wherein the flow-through warehouse comprises at least two rack rows positioned side-by-side and being provided with a conveyor for transferring the narrow rolls between said rack rows. 20. The arrangement of claim 14 , wherein there are more carriages in an isle near the inlet end than in an isle farther off the inlet. 21. The arrangement of claim 14 , wherein the flow-through warehouse comprises at least one fast track channel for passing at least one isle being provided with at least one carriage.
