Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The present invention relates to antibodies that broady neutralize interferon-α and interferon-ω, polynucleotides encoding the antibodies or fragments, and methods of making and using the foregoing.

First claim

We claim: 1. An isolated polynucleotide encoding an antibody comprising a heavy chain variable region and a light chain variable region, the heavy chain variable region comprising heavy chain complementarity determining region (HCDR) 1 (HCDR1), 2 (HCDR2) and 3 (HCDR3) amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 109, 113 and 116, respectively, and the light chain variable region comprising light chain complementarity determining region (LCDR) 1 (LCDR1), 2 (LCDR2) and 3 (LCDR3) amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 82, 94 and 99, respectively. 2. A vector comprising the polynucleotide of claim 1 . 3. An isolated host cell comprising the vector of claim 2 . 4. A method of producing an antibody, comprising culturing the host cell of claim 3 in conditions that the antibody is expressed, and recovering the antibody produced by the host cell. 5. An isolated polynucleotide encoding an antibody comprising a heavy chain variable region (VH) amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 28 and a light chain variable region (VL) amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO: 150. 6. A vector comprising the polynucleotide of claim 5 . 7. An isolated host cell comprising the vector of claim 6 . 8. A method of producing an antibody, comprising culturing the host cell of claim 7 in conditions that the antibody is expressed, and recovering the antibody produced by the host cell.
