Various embodiment(s) for a service system, a digital device, and a method of processing a service therefor are disclosed in the present specification. In this case, according to one embodiment of the present invention, a method of processing a service in the digital device includes the steps of downloading and installing one or more STB applications configured to process the service, outputting an icon configured to approach the installed STB applications on a first service board supporting an RF mode, receiving a selection of an STB application icon among the STB applications, and outputting content processed by the selected STB application according to a result of a service authentication and a second service board for the selected STB application.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of switching between multiple modes for a live broadcasting in a smart television, the method comprising: displaying the live broadcasting in an RF mode, wherein the live broadcasting in the RF mode is received via a physical set top box or a tuner; downloading at least one set-top box (STB) application from a corresponding server via a wired or wireless network, wherein the at least one STB application is capable of processing multiple charged services including a charged broadcasting service used to be provided by the physical STB; installing the at least one STB application in a memory; displaying an icon approaching the at least one STB application installed in the memory; switching the RF mode to a G-IP mode without connecting to the physical STB in response to selecting the icon; executing the at least one STB application; and displaying the live broadcasting in the G-IP mode, wherein the G-IP mode performs based on the at least one STB application installed in the memory. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: checking whether the G-IP mode is set if power to the smart television is turned on; and providing a home screen based on the G-IP mode if the G-IP mode is set to the smart television. 3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising: determining a user or the smart television has subscribed for the charged broadcasting service or not; executing the at least one STB application for the charged broadcasting service if the user or the smart television corresponds to a subscriber of the charged broadcasting service; and providing a subscription guide page or subscription inducement page for the charged broadcasting service if the user or the smart television does not correspond to the subscriber of the charged broadcasting service. 4. The method of claim 3 , further comprising: displaying an external input list in response to a first signal received from a remote controller, wherein the external input list comprises the icon; and switching the RF mode to the G-IP mode in response to a second signal received from the remote controller, wherein the second signal is used for selecting the icon. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the physical set top box is comprised of hardware for processing a broadcast signal. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the smart television is connectable to the physical set top box. 7. A smart television for switching between multiple modes for a live broadcasting, the smart television, comprising: a tuner configured to receive a signal for the live broadcasting; a display configured to display the live broadcasting in an RF mode, wherein the live broadcasting in the RF mode is received via a physical set top box or the tuner; a memory configured to download and install at least one set top box (STB) application from a corresponding server via a wired or wireless network, wherein the at least one STB application is capable of processing multiple charged services including a charged broadcasting service used to be provided by the physical STB; and a controller coupled to the tuner, the display and the memory, wherein the controller is configured to: display an icon approaching the at least one STB application installed in the memory, switch the RF mode to a G-IP mode without connecting to the physical STB in response to selecting the icon, execute the at least one STB application, and control the display to display the live broadcasting in the G-IP mode, wherein the G-IP mode performs based on the at least one STB application installed in the memory. 8. The smart television of claim 7 , wherein the controller is further configured to: check whether the G-IP mode is set if power to the smart television is turned on, and provide a home screen based on the G-IP mode if the G-IP mode is set to the smart television. 9. The smart television of claim 8 , wherein the controller is further configured to: determine a user or the smart television has subscribed for the charged broadcasting service or not, execute the at least one STB application for the charged broadcasting service if the user or the smart television corresponds to a subscriber of the charged broadcasting service, and provide a subscription guide page or subscription inducement page for the charged broadcasting service if the user or the smart television does not correspond to the subscriber of the charged broadcasting service. 10. The smart television of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to: control the display to display an external input list in response to a first signal received from a remote controller, wherein the external input list comprises the icon, and switch the RF mode to the G-IP mode in response to a second signal received from the remote controller, wherein the second signal is used for selecting the icon. 11. The smart television of claim 7 , wherein the physical set top box is comprised of hardware for processing the broadcast signal. 12. The smart television of claim 11 , wherein the smart television is connectable to the physical set top box.
