Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A system a first mobile body configured to support a turbine engine and an auxiliary skid communicatively and fluidly coupled to the turbine engine. The auxiliary skid includes one or more interconnects configured to support a turbine engine component. The system also includes a second mobile body configured to support a generator. The first and second mobile bodies are configured to align a removable coupling between the turbine engine and the generator.

The invention claimed is: 1. An interconnecting trailer system for connecting a plurality of trailers, comprising: a first trailer configured to be towed by a motorized vehicle, wherein the first trailer comprises: one or more first wheels; a turbine enclosure configured to at least partially surround a turbine; and an exhaust section configured to mount above the turbine enclosure, wherein the first trailer is configured to removably couple with a second trailer having a generator. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the exhaust section comprises an exhaust stack. 3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the exhaust section comprises a silencer. 4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the exhaust section is disposed at a first end portion of the first trailer configured to couple to a first mating end portion of the second trailer. 5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first trailer is configured to be transported without the exhaust stack, and the exhaust stack is configured to be mounted on top of the turbine enclosure after transport of the first trailer. 6. The system of claim 1 , comprising the turbine disposed in the housing. 7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the turbine comprises a gas turbine engine having a turbine section, a compression section, and one or more combustors. 8. The system of claim 7 , wherein the gas turbine engine comprises a shaft extending from the turbine section to a removable coupling configured to couple with the generator on the second trailer. 9. The system of claim 1 , comprising the second trailer having the generator, wherein the generator is configured to generate electricity, and wherein the second trailer comprises one or more second wheels. 10. The system of claim 9 , wherein second trailer comprises a heat exchanger configured to cool a lubricant for the generator. 11. The system of claim 1 , comprising a third trailer comprising: one or more third wheels; and control equipment configured to control operation of the turbine on the first trailer and the generator on the second trailer, wherein the control equipment is configured to removably couple to the first and second trailers. 12. An interconnecting trailer system for connecting a plurality of trailers, comprising: a first trailer configured to be towed by a motorized vehicle, wherein the first trailer comprises: one or more first wheels; a generator configured to generate electricity; and a heat exchanger configured to cool a fluid for the generator, wherein the first trailer is configured to removably couple with a second trailer having a turbine. 13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the first trailer comprises an air filter section disposed directly above the generator. 14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the air filter section comprises first and second filters horizontally spaced apart from one another. 15. The system of claim 12 , wherein the first trailer is configured to be transported without an air filter section, and the air filter section is configured to be mounted directly above the generator after transport of the first trailer. 16. The system of claim 12 , comprising the second trailer having the turbine, wherein the second trailer comprises: one or more second wheels; and a turbine enclosure that at least partially surrounds the turbine. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein an exhaust section is configured to mount above the turbine enclosure. 18. The system of claim 17 , wherein the second trailer is configured to be transported without the exhaust section, and the exhaust section is configured to be mounted on top of the turbine enclosure after transport of the second trailer. 19. The system of claim 12 , comprising a third trailer comprising: one or more third wheels; and control equipment configured to control operation of the turbine on the first trailer and the generator on the second trailer, wherein the control equipment is configured to removably couple to the first and second trailers. 20. The system of claim 12 , wherein the fluid comprises a lubricant for the generator. 21. An interconnecting trailer system for connecting a plurality of trailers, comprising: a first trailer configured to be towed by a motorized vehicle, wherein the first trailer comprises: one or more first wheels; a turbine enclosure configured to surround a turbine; and an exhaust section disposed at a first end portion of the first trailer, wherein the first end portion of the first trailer is configured to removably couple with a first mating end portion of the second trailer having a generator. 22. The system of claim 21 , wherein the first trailer is configured to be transported without the exhaust section, and the exhaust section is configured to be mounted on top of the turbine enclosure after transport of the first trailer. 23. An interconnecting trailer system for connecting a plurality of trailers, comprising: a first trailer configured to be towed by a motorized vehicle, wherein the first trailer comprises: one or more first wheels; a turbine enclosure configured to at least partially surround a gas turbine engine having a compressor section, a turbine section, and one or more combustors; and a shaft extending from the turbine section to a removable coupling, wherein the removable coupling is configured to removably couple with a generator disposed on a second trailer. 24. The system of claim 23 , wherein the first trailer is configured to be transported without an exhaust section, and the exhaust section is configured to be mounted on top of the turbine enclosure after transport of the first trailer.
