What is claimed is: 1. A disposable absorbent article having a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the disposable absorbent article further comprising: a chassis having first and second longitudinal side edges extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, a pair of end edges joining the first and second longitudinal side edges on opposite ends of the chassis, the chassis further comprising a topsheet; a backsheet; and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; a fastening adhesive disposed on a garment-facing surface of the chassis; a first cuff extending along the first longitudinal side edge; and a second cuff extending along the second longitudinal side edge, wherein the article has a flexibility factor of less than 220 and an average pad curl of less than 3.0 mm. 2. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the average pad curl is less than 2 mm. 3. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein an average cross directional peak load is less than 160 grams force. 4. The disposable absorbent article of claim 3 , wherein an average cross directional peak load is between about 30 to about 160 grams force. 5. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the first cuff and the second cuff comprise a portion of the topsheet and the backsheet. 6. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the first cuff comprises a first cover and the second cuff comprises a second cover, wherein first cover and second cover are discrete from the chassis of the absorbent article. 7. The disposable absorbent article of claim 6 , wherein the first cover and the second cover are attached to the topsheet. 8. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the flexibility factor is less than 212. 9. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the flexibility factor is between 50 and 220. 10. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the average pad curl is less than 2.0 mm. 11. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the average pad curl is between 0.5 mm and 2.5 mm. 12. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the average pad curl is between 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm. 13. The disposable absorbent article of claim 1 , wherein the average pad curl is between 0.5 mm and 3.0 mm. 14. A disposable absorbent article having a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the disposable absorbent article further comprising: a chassis having first and second longitudinal side edges extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, a pair of end edges joining the first and second longitudinal side edges on opposite ends of the chassis, the chassis further comprising a topsheet; a backsheet; and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; a fastening adhesive disposed on a garment-facing surface of the chassis; a first cuff extending along the first longitudinal side edge; and a second cuff extending along the second longitudinal side edge, wherein the article has a flexibility factor of less than 190 and an average pad curl of less than 4.0 mm. 15. The disposable absorbent article of claim 14 , wherein the average pad curl is less than 3.0 mm. 16. The disposable absorbent article of claim 14 , wherein the average pad curl is between 0.5 mm and 4.0 mm. 17. The disposable absorbent article of claim 14 , wherein the average pad curl is between 1.0 mm and 3.0 mm. 18. The disposable absorbent article of claim 14 , wherein the flexibility factor is less than 180. 19. The disposable absorbent article of claim 14 , wherein the flexibility factor is between 50 and 190. 20. The disposable absorbent article of claim 14 , wherein the first cuff and the second cuff comprise a portion of the topsheet and the backsheet. 21. The disposable absorbent article of claim 14 , wherein the first cuff comprises a first cover and the second cuff comprises a second cover, wherein first cover and second cover are discrete from the chassis of the absorbent article. 22. The disposable absorbent article of claim 21 , wherein the first cover and the second cover are attached to the topsheet. 23. A disposable absorbent article having a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the disposable absorbent article further comprising: a chassis having first and second longitudinal side edges extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, a pair of end edges joining the first and second longitudinal side edges on opposite ends of the chassis, the chassis further comprising a topsheet; a backsheet; and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; a fastening adhesive disposed on a garment-facing surface of the chassis; a first cuff extending along the first longitudinal side edge; and a second cuff extending along the second longitudinal side edge, wherein the article has an average pad curl (APC) that satisfies the following equation: APC≤(−0.0338FF+8.7879) wherein APC is in mm and FF is a flexibility factor of the article. 24. The disposable absorbent article of claim 23 , wherein the first cuff and the second cuff comprise a portion of the topsheet and the backsheet. 25. The disposable absorbent article of claim 23 , wherein the first cuff comprises a first cover and the second cuff comprises a second cover, wherein first cover and second cover are discrete from the chassis of the absorbent article. 26. The disposable absorbent article of claim 25 , wherein the first cover and the second cover are attached to the topsheet. 27.
