The invention claimed is: 1. A mobile communications device, comprising: a wireless communication transceiver to communicate commands or messages and to receive commands, measurements or messages; one or more memory devices; one or more processors; computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory devices, accessed from the one or more memory devices, and executable by the one or more processors, to cause the mobile device to: communicate, via the wireless communication transceiver, commands, messages or instructions to a first umbrella to control some operations of the first umbrella; communicate, via the wireless communication transceiver, commands, messages or instructions to a second umbrella to control some operations of the second umbrella, wherein the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more cameras in the first umbrella and the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more cameras in the second umbrella, and the computer-readable instructions being further executable by the one or more processors to receive, at the wireless communication transceiver status messages or parameters from the one or more cameras in the first umbrella and the second umbrella indicating operational status of the one or more cameras in the first umbrella and the second umbrella. 2. The mobile communications device of claim 1 , the computer-readable instructions being further executed by the one or more processors to receive, at the wireless communication transceiver, images or video from the one or more cameras in the first umbrella and to receive images or video from the one or more cameras in the second umbrella. 3. The mobile communications device of claim 1 , wherein additional commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more sensor devices in the first umbrella and additional commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more sensor devices of the second umbrella. 4. The mobile communications device of claim 1 , the computer-readable instructions further executable by the one or more processors to: communicate audio files along with the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella; and communicate audio files along with the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella. 5. The mobile communications device of claim 1 , wherein the wireless communication transceiver communicates the commands, instructions or messages to the first umbrella and the second umbrella utilizing a personal area network (PAN) communications protocol. 6. The mobile communications device of claim 1 , wherein the wireless communication transceiver communicates the commands, instructions or messages to the first umbrella and the second umbrella utilizing a wireless local area network communications protocol. 7. The mobile communications device of claim 1 , wherein the wireless communication transceiver communicates the commands, instructions or messages to the first umbrella and the second umbrella utilizing a cellular communications protocol. 8. A mobile communications device, comprising: a wireless communication transceiver to communicate commands or messages and to receive commands, measurements or messages; one or more memory devices; one or more processors; computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory devices, accessed from the one or more memory devices, and executable by the one or more processors to cause the mobile device to: communicate, via the wireless communication transceiver, commands, messages or instructions to a first umbrella to control some operations of the first umbrella; and communicate, via the wireless communication transceiver, commands, messages or instructions to a second umbrella to control some operations of the second umbrella, wherein the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more sensor devices in the first umbrella and the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more sensor devices of the second umbrella; and the computer-readable instructions being further executed by the one or more processors to receive, at the wireless communication transceiver status messages or parameters from the one or more sensor devices in the first umbrella and the second umbrella indicating operational status of the one or more sensor devices of the first umbrella and the second umbrella. 9. The mobile communications device of claim 8 , the computer-readable instructions being further executed by the one or more processors to receive, at the wireless communication transceiver, sensor measurements from the one or more sensor devices in the first umbrella and to receive sensor measurements from the one or more sensors in the second umbrella. 10. The mobile communications device of claim 8 , wherein the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella are the same commands, instructions or messages that are transmitted to the second umbrella. 11. The mobile communications device of claim 8 , wherein the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella are different commands from the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella. 12. The mobile communications device of claim 8 , the computer-readable instructions further executable by the one or more processors to: communicate audio files along with the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella; and communicate audio files along with the commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella. 13. The mobile communications device of claim 12 , wherein the audio files communicated to the first umbrella are the same audio files as the audio files communicated to the second umbrella. 14. The mobile communications device of claim 12 , wherein the audio files communicated to the first umbrella are different from the audio files communicated to the second umbrella. 15. The mobile communications device of claim 8 , wherein additional commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more motor assemblies in the first umbrella and additional commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more motor assemblies of the second umbrella. 16. The mobile communications device of claim 8 , wherein additional commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the first umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more lighting assemblies in the first umbrella and additional commands, instructions or messages transmitted to the second umbrella are commands, instructions or messages to control one or more lighting assemblies of the second umbrella. 17. A mobile communications device, comprising: a wireless communication transceiver to communicate commands or messages and to receive commands, measurements or messages; one or more memory devices; one or more processors; computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory devices, accessed from the one or more memory devices, and executable by the
