What is claimed is: 1. A bead comprised of a non-flexible polymer-adsorbent matrix suited for high-temperature exposure requirement produced by diffusion-driven phase inversion using a soluble thermoplastic polymers or a blend of thermoplastic polymers that can withstand high temperature exposure at or above 240° C. for at least 5 hours, the beads containing at least 50 wt % adsorbent. 2. A bed of the bead of claim 1 . 3. The bead of claim 1 , wherein the thermoplastic polymer or the blend of thermoplastic polymers are soluble rigid chain polymers selected from the group consisting of: Polyaramids (MPD-I, MPD-IT, DAM-IT), FBI, PBT, PBO, PAI, PEI+derivatives and/or precursors and/or blends, and soluble ladder type polymers: BBL.
