Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A display device includes a housing; at least one roller positioned within the housing; a display portion including a display panel and a module cover; and an operating portion connected to one end of the display portion and to change a display portion's state, wherein the display panel and the module cover transition from a first state where the display panel and the module cover are wound around the at least one roller to a second state where the display panel and the module cover are unwound from the at least one roller, in contact with each other, and exposed out of the housing. The operating portion includes a motor assembly; a support, one end which is connected to one end of the display portion and an other end which is connected to the motor assembly; a transmission portion, one end of which is connected to the support; and an auxiliary link connected to the housing and connected to an other end of the transmission portion, the auxiliary link including a spring portion to exert force on the transmission portion.

What is claimed is: 1. A display device comprising: a housing; a roller elongated in the housing; a display portion rewindable around the roller, the display portion having a display panel and a module cover; a support including a lower link pivotally connected to the housing and an upper link pivotally connected to an upper part of the display portion; a motor assembly in the housing, the motor assembly pivoting the lower link; a roller hub coupled to the roller and rotating with the roller; a rolled constant spring rotating in the housing and spaced apart from the roller hub; and a transmission belt extended as a part of the constant spring and wound around the roller hub, wherein when the motor is driven in a first direction, the lower link is pivoted in a standing direction of the lower link, and wherein when the lower link is pivoted in the standing direction, the display portion is unwound from the roller, and the transmission belt is wound around the roller hub. 2. The display device of claim 1 , wherein a torque of the roller hub is larger than a torque of the constant spring during rotation of the roller hub. 3. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the module cover comprises a plurality of aprons, and at least two of the aprons are connected to one another. 4. The display device of claim 1 , further comprising a bracket positioned below the roller, with a surface facing the roller being concaved. 5. The display device of claim 4 , wherein the surface of the bracket facing the roller having the concaved portion has a diameter larger than a diameter of the roller. 6. The display device of claim 1 , wherein at least one guide bar is positioned at an entrance where the support ascends from or descends into the housing. 7. The display device of claim 6 , wherein the at least one guide bar comprises first and second guide bars, the first and second guide bars positioned at opposite sides of the support. 8. The display device of claim 1 , comprising: a guide wheel positioned at a joint of the transmission portion and the auxiliary link; and a guide rail positioned at the housing, into which the guide wheel is inserted. 9. The display device of claim 1 , wherein when the motor is driven in a second direction opposite to the first direction and a restoring force of the constant spring is transmitted to the roller hub via the transmission belt, the lower link is pivoted in a direction opposite to the standing direction, and wherein when the lower link is pivoted in the direction, the display portion is wound around the roller, and the transmission belt is unwound around the roller hub. 10. The display device of claim 1 , wherein when the motor is driven in the first direction, a rotational direction of the roller and a rotational direction of the constant spring are opposite to each other. 11. The display device of claim 1 , wherein when the motor is driven in the second direction, a rotational direction of the roller and a rotational direction of the constant spring are opposite to each other. 12. The display device of claim 1 , comprising: a fastening portion linearly moving to a length direction of the roller; a spring pushing one side of the fastening portion; and a transmission portion having one side pivotally connected to the lower link and the other side pivotally connected to the other side of the fastening portion, wherein when the motor is driven in the first direction and a elastic force of the spring is transmitted to the lower link via the fastening portion and the transmission portion, the lower link is pivoted in the standing direction. 13. The display device of claim 12 , wherein the spring comprises a first spring, a second spring, and a third spring pushing the fastening portion. 14. The display device of claim 13 , wherein at least one of the first to third springs has a different spring constant compared to another spring among the first to third springs. 15. The display device of claim 14 , wherein the third spring, which is farthest of the first to third springs from the transmission portion, has a highest spring constant. 16. The display device of claim 13 , wherein the first spring, the second spring, and the third spring are arranged in series. 17. The display device of claim 16 , wherein the fastening portion is parallel to the roller. 18. The display device of claim 1 , wherein when the motor is driven in the first direction, the fastening portion is closer to the lower link and the transmission portion stands. 19. The display device of claim 18 , wherein when the motor is driven in the second direction, the fastening portion is away from the lower link and the transmission portion lies down. 20. The display device of claim 1 , wherein when the lower link is pivoted in the standing direction, the upper link stands, and wherein when the lower link is pivoted in the direction opposite to the standing direction, the upper link lies down.
