A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving transaction data in an authorization request message from an access device, where the transaction data is associated with a merchant and a transaction location. The method also includes analyzing the transaction data to determine if a location database comprises location data corresponding to the merchant associated with the transaction data, and adding the transaction location and information regarding the access device to the location database.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: electronically transmitting, by a software application running on a communications device, a location associated with the communications device; electronically receiving, by the communications device, map data from a location server, wherein the map data is operable by the software application displaying a map utilizing the map data, wherein locations of contactless access devices nearby to the location associated with the communications device are shown; filtering the contactless access devices on the map, wherein one or more of the nearby contactless access devices are hidden from the map based on a filter, and other nearby contactless access are displayed if they are not hidden by the filter; and displaying, by the communications device, information associated with one or more of the displayed, nearby contactless access devices, wherein the filter specifies a contactless payment method, and wherein contactless access devices which do not support the contactless payment method are hidden from the map. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein multiple contactless access devices sharing a location are indicated on the map by a special icon. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filter specifies an issuer, and wherein contactless access devices not associated with the issuer are hidden from the map. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filter specifies a group service provider, wherein an issuer of the software application is associated with the group service provider, and wherein contactless access devices not associated with the group service provider are hidden from the map. 5. A communications device comprising: a processor; and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, comprising code executable by the processor for implementing a method comprising: electronically transmitting, by a software application running on the communications device, a location associated with the communications device; electronically receiving map data from a location server, wherein the map data is operable by the software application; displaying a map utilizing the map data, wherein locations of contactless access devices nearby to the location associated with the communications device are shown; filtering contactless access devices, wherein one or more of the nearby contactless access devices are hidden from the map based on a filter, and one or more of the other nearby contactless access devices are displayed if they are not hidden by the filter; and displaying information associated with one or more of the displayed, nearby contactless access devices, wherein the filter specifies a contactless payment method, and wherein contactless access devices which do not support the contactless payment method are hidden from the map. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving, by the communications device, a selection of a locator service in the software application. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the map is centered at the location associated with the communications device. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the communications device is a mobile phone. 9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: performing an action based upon the one or more displayed contactless access devices. 10. The communications device of claim 5 , wherein the method further comprises: receiving, by the communications device, a selection of a locator service in the software application. 11. The communications device of claim 5 , wherein the map is centered at the location associated with the communications device. 12. The communications device of claim 5 , wherein multiple contactless access devices sharing a location are indicated on the map by a special icon. 13. The communications device of claim 5 , wherein the filter specifies an issuer, and wherein contactless access devices not associated with the issuer are hidden from the map. 14. The method of claim 1 , wherein the contactless payment method is a debit payment method. 15. The method of claim 1 , wherein the contactless payment method uses an automated teller machine.
