The invention claimed is: 1. A vehicle, comprising: an interior compartment; and an illuminating device having a longitudinally shaped light strip that emits light in operation along a specific line of the illuminating device, the illuminating device including at least a first section positioned within the interior compartment. 2. The vehicle of claim 1 further comprising: an exterior surface; and the illuminating device including a second section positioned on the exterior surface. 3. The vehicle of claim 2 wherein the specific line of the illuminating device creates a continuous transition between the interior compartment and the exterior surface. 4. The vehicle of claim 1 further comprising: a control device coupled to the illuminating device for a user to control a property of the illuminating device. 5. The vehicle of claim 4 wherein the property is at least one of power, a light color, a change in light color, a light intensity, a change in light intensity and a light duration. 6. The vehicle of claim 1 further comprising: a control unit coupled to the illuminating device to control a property of the illuminating device in response to an input. 7. The vehicle of claim 6 wherein the property includes at least one of a light color, a change in light color, a light intensity, a change in light intensity and a light duration. 8. The vehicle of claim 6 wherein the input includes at least one of a vehicle malfunction condition, a user incapacity condition, an automated driving condition and a traffic condition. 9. A vehicle, comprising: an exterior surface; and an illuminating device having a longitudinally shaped light strip that emits light in operation along a specific line of the illuminating device, the illuminating device including at least a first section positioned on the exterior surface. 10. The vehicle of claim 9 further comprising: an interior compartment; and the illuminating device including a second section positioned within the interior compartment. 11. The vehicle of claim 10 wherein the illuminating device is a single piece light conductor body. 12. The vehicle of claim 11 wherein the single piece light conductor body extends through at least one vehicle component partition between the interior compartment and the exterior surface. 13. The vehicle of claim 10 wherein the first section comprises a first single piece light conductor body and the second section comprises a second single piece light conductor body coupled to the first single piece light conductor body. 14. An illuminating device, comprising: a first section having a first longitudinally shaped light strip that includes a first plurality of lighting devices arranged in series, the first section configured to be positioned on an interior compartment of a vehicle. 15. The illuminating device of claim 14 further comprising: a second section having a second longitudinally shaped light strip that includes a second plurality of lighting devices arranged in series, the second section configured to be positioned on an exterior surface of the vehicle. 16. The illuminating device of claim 15 wherein at least one of the first plurality of lighting devices arranged in series and the second plurality of lighting devices arranged in series includes a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged in series. 17. The illuminating device of claim 14 wherein the interior compartment of the vehicle includes at least a headliner, a center console and a dashboard, the first section of the illuminating device positioned on at least one of the headliner, the center console and the dashboard. 18. The illuminating device of claim 15 wherein the exterior surface is one of a mirror, a door, a trunk lid, a hood and a lift gate, the second section of the illuminating device positioned on at least one of the mirror, the door, the trunk lid, the hood, and the lift gate. 19. The illuminating device of claim 15 wherein the exterior surface is moveable between a first position and a second position and light is fed into an end of the first section and into the second section when the exterior surface is in the first position. 20. The illuminating device of claim 19 wherein light is fed into only the first section when the exterior surface is in the second position.
