Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A specimen analyzing method and a specimen analyzing apparatus capable of measuring interference substances before analyzing a specimen. The method comprises a step for sucking the specimen stored in a specimen container ( 150 ) and sampling it in a first container ( 153 ), a step for optically measuring the specimen in the first container, a step for sampling the specimen in a second container ( 154 ) and preparing a specimen for measurement by mixing the specimen with a reagent in the second container, and a step for analyzing the specimen for measurement according to the results of the optical measurement of the specimen.

What is claimed is: 1. A specimen analyzing method comprising: acquiring information about an amount of an interference substance of a specimen; analyzing the specimen for measurement items; and outputting, on a display, a plurality of measurement item symbols corresponding to the measurement items and an indication associated with a measurement item symbol, from among the plurality of measurement item symbols, for a measurement item which the information about the amount of the interference substance meets a condition. 2. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 1 , further comprising: acquiring first optical information by applying a light of a first wavelength, a light of a second wavelength which is longer than the first wavelength, and a light of a third wavelength which is longer than the second wavelength to a cuvette containing the specimen, wherein the information about the amount of the interference substance is acquired based on the first optical information. 3. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 2 , further comprising: acquiring second optical information by applying the light of the first wavelength to the cuvette, wherein the specimen is analyzed for at least one of the measurement items based on the second optical information. 4. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 3 , wherein the first wavelength is 405 nm. 5. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 2 , further comprising: acquiring third optical information by applying the light of the third wavelength to the cuvette, wherein the specimen is analyzed for at least one of the measurement items based on the third optical information. 6. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 5 , wherein the light of the first wavelength is applied by a light source, and the light of the third wavelength is applied by the light source. 7. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 2 , wherein the light of the first wavelength is applied by a light source. 8. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 7 , wherein the light of the third wavelength is applied by the light source. 9. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 1 , wherein the information about the amount of the interference substance indicates concentrations of the interference substance in the specimen. 10. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 1 , further comprising dispensing the specimen into a cuvette by a specimen pipette. 11. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 10 , wherein the specimen is dispensed from a specimen container into the cuvette. 12. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 1 , wherein the indication indicates that there is a high possibility that the specimen is influenced by a chyle. 13. The specimen analyzing method according to claim 1 , wherein the indication indicates that there is a high possibility that the specimen is influenced by a hemoglobin. 14.
