The method of claim 1 , wherein the cannabinoid is CBDV. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cannabinoid is CBDVA. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the neurodegenerative disease or disorder is selected from the group consisting of: Alzheimer's disease; Parkinson's disease; amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; and Huntington's disease. 5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the neurodegenerative disease or disorder to be prevented or treated is Alzheimer's disease. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cannabinoid/s are administered in a daily dose effective to prevent or treat neurodegenerative diseases or disorders. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the effective daily dose of cannabinoid/s is between 5 mg and 1000 mg. 8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the effective daily dose of cannabinoid/s is between 10 mg and 50 mg. 9.
