What is claimed is: 1. An optical module, comprising: a housing including an upper housing and a lower housing; a printed circuit board disposed in the housing; an optical assembly disposed in the housing; an optical interface connected with the optical assembly and disposed in the housing; an adapter, to be mated with an external optical connector, disposed on an end of the housing; and first and second connecting parts disposed on the adapter and the housing, respectively, wherein the adapter and the housing are fixed together through the first and second connecting parts, the optical interface and the adapter are configured to correspond to each other, the first connecting part comprises an adapter sidewall located at an end of the adapter, the second connecting part comprises a housing sidewall located at an end of the housing, one of the adapter sidewall and the housing sidewall is inserted along an exterior of the other one of the adapter sidewall and the housing sidewall, the adapter sidewall and the housing sidewall are parallel to each other and are extending along an insertion direction of the one of the adapter sidewall and the housing sidewall, a gap exists between the adapter sidewall and the housing sidewall, and a fixing glue is filled in the gap between the adapter sidewall and the housing sidewall to fix the adapter sidewall and the housing sidewall together. 2. The optical module according to claim 1 , wherein the housing sidewall located at the end of the housing is inserted along the exterior of the adapter sidewall located at the end of the adapter. 3. The optical module according to claim 1 , wherein a protruding part is disposed on one of the first connecting part and the second connecting part, and the protruding part restricts a movement range of the other one of the first connecting part and the second connecting part relative to the one of the first connecting part and the second connecting part. 4. The optical module according to claim 1 , wherein a notch is disposed on one of the first connecting part and the second connecting part, and the notch is filled with the fixing glue to fix the first connecting part and the second connecting part together. 5. The optical module according to claim 4 , wherein a protruding part is disposed on the other one of the first connecting part and the second connecting part, and the protruding part is at least partially located in the notch. 6. The optical module according to claim 4 , wherein the notch is shaped as an L, circle, oval, U, or polygon. 7. The optical module according to claim 1 , wherein glue dispensation is employed between the adapter and the housing to fix the adapter and housing together. 8. The optical module according to claim 1 , wherein the optical interface is configured as one or two optical interfaces. 9. The optical module according to claim 1 , wherein the printed circuit board and optical assembly are secured together and secured in the housing. 10. A method for assembling the optical module according to claim 1 , comprising: assembling the optical assembly and the printed circuit board inside the housing; assembling the adapter on the housing; adjusting a position of the adapter relative to the housing according to a position of the optical interface; and fixing the adapter and the housing together after the position of the adapter is adjusted. 11. The method according to claim 10 , further comprising dispensing the fixing glue between the adapter and the housing to fix the adapter sidewall and housing sidewall together.
