What is claimed is: 1. A pharmaceutical composition comprising: a IL-4/IL-13 receptor inhibitor; and (ii) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the IL-4/IL-13 receptor inhibitor is CSRM53567 comprising of the amino acid sequence Tyr-Cys-Asp-Asp-Phe-Val-Gly-Ser-Phe-Asp-Cys-Tyr (SEQ ID NO: 1). 2. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the IL-4/IL-13 receptor inhibitor is attached to moieties that result in PEGylation, glycosylation, lipidation, acetylation, amidation, end-capping modification, adding cyano groups, phosphorylation, or cyclization of the inhibitor. 3. The composition of claim 2 , wherein the end-capping modification comprises acetylation at the N-terminus, N-terminal acylation, or N-terminal formylation. 4. The composition of claim 2 , wherein the end-capping modification comprises amidation at the C-terminus, introduction of C-terminal alcohol, aldehyde, ester, or thioester moieties. 5. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the IL-4/IL-13 receptor inhibitor is attached to moieties that result in extension of half-life of the inhibitor. 6. The composition of claim 5 , wherein the moieties that result in extension of half-life of the inhibitor is Fc domain or serum albumin.
