An audio demonstration kit encourages understanding of audio concepts by enabling children to construct and study speaker performance. In a particular example, the audio demonstration kit includes a paper speaker and instructions. The paper speaker includes a backplate, a suspension, and a diaphragm cut from a single sheet of paper. The demonstration kit may feature an amplifier that is configurable to accommodate various hardware additions as a child is ready for more progressively challenging construction. For example, the amplifier of an example allows single and dual mode operation, as well as drives a rotary motor and is coordinated with a strobe light. The amplifier of an example is synchronized with the strobe light and a moveable platform to create the impression of that jiggling figures attached to the table are dancing. Interfaces with smart phone, recording, and other technologies further enhances and encourages the learning experience.

The invention claimed is: 1. An apparatus comprising: a diaphragm configured to move in response to vibrations communicated via an audio signal; a speaker to generate the audio signal; a motion element configured to actuate in response to the movement of the diaphragm; an image capture device enabling a user to observe movement of the motion element; an amplifier coupled to the speaker and the image capture device, the amplifier comprising a strobe light; and a controller configured to synchronize operation of a frame rate of the image capture device to the movement of the motion element, to the strobe light, and to the audio signal to facilitate observation of the motion element. 2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to send a signal to the image capture device to affect operation of the image capture device. 3. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the signal facilitates operation of the image capture device with the movement of the motion element. 4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the image capture device includes a camera. 5. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising: a strobe control disposed on the amplifier, the strobe control configured to control the strobe light. 6. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the movement of the diaphragm is an oscillation. 7. The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the strobe light is configured to flash at a first frequency and a second frequency. 8. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the first frequency causes the strobe light to flash in phase with the oscillations of the diaphragm. 9. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the second frequency causes the strobe light to flash out of phase with the oscillations of the diaphragm. 10. An apparatus comprising: a diaphragm configured to move in response to vibrations communicated via an audio signal; a first element configured to actuate in response to the movement of the diaphragm; a speaker configured to generate the audio signal; an image capture device; an amplifier coupled to the speaker and the image capture device, the amplifier comprising a strobe light; and a controller in communication with the amplifier and the image capture device, wherein the controller is configured to synchronize operation of a frame rate of the image capture device to the movement of the first element, to the strobe light, and to the audio signal to facilitate observation of the first element. 11. The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the first element includes at least one of a plastic material. 12. The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the image capture device includes a camera. 13. The apparatus of claim 10 , further comprising: a strobe control disposed on the amplifier, the strobe control configured to control the strobe light. 14. The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the strobe control is configured to switch a flashing of the strobe light between a first mode and a second mode. 15. The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the movement of the diaphragm is an oscillation. 16. A method comprising: actuating a diaphragm, wherein a first element is configured to move in response to the actuating of the diaphragm, and wherein the diaphragm is configured to move in response to vibrations communicated via an audio signal; providing the audio signal via a speaker; flashing a strobe light disposed on an amplifier, the amplifier coupled to the speaker and an image capture device; and synchronizing operating a frame rate of the image capture device to the movement of the first element, to the strobe light, and to the audio signal to facilitate observation of the first element. 17. The method of claim 16 , further comprising: flashing the strobe light at a first frequency. 18. The method of claim 17 , further comprising: flashing the strobe light at a second frequency different than the first frequency. 19. The method of claim 16 , wherein the movement of the diaphragm is an oscillation.
