A vehicle height adjustment device includes a changer, a vehicle speed obtainer, a vehicle height controller, and a malfunction detector. The changer is configured to change a relative position of a body of a vehicle, which includes a plurality of wheels, relative to an axle of each of the plurality of wheels of the vehicle. The vehicle speed obtainer is configured to obtain a vehicle speed, which is a traveling speed of the vehicle. The vehicle height controller is configured to control a vehicle height, which is a height of the body, based on the vehicle speed obtained by the vehicle speed obtainer. The malfunction detector is configured to detect a failure of the vehicle speed obtainer to obtain an accurate value of the vehicle speed.

What is claimed is: 1. A vehicle height adjustment device comprising: a vehicle body position changing device configured to change a relative position of a body of a vehicle, which comprises a plurality of wheels, relative to an axle of each of the plurality of wheels of the vehicle; a vehicle speed calculator configured to obtain a vehicle speed, which is a traveling speed of the vehicle; a vehicle height controller configured to control a vehicle height, which is a height of the body, based on the vehicle speed obtained by the vehicle speed calculator; and a malfunction detector configured to detect a failure of the vehicle speed calculator to obtain an accurate value of the vehicle speed, wherein when the malfunction detector detects the failure, the vehicle height controller controls the vehicle height based on a vehicle speed obtained by the vehicle speed calculator before occurrence of the failure. 2. The vehicle height adjustment device according to claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of rotation detection sensors disposed on the respective wheels and configured to detect rotation angles of the plurality of wheels, wherein the vehicle speed calculator is configured to obtain the vehicle speed based on detection values obtained by the plurality of rotation detection sensors, and wherein the malfunction is configured to determine that the failure has occurred when the vehicle speed calculator has become unable to obtain the detection values from the plurality of rotation detection sensors or when the plurality of rotation detection sensors have become unable to detect the detection values. 3. The vehicle height adjustment device according to claim 2 , wherein the malfunction detector is configured to detect the failure based on changes in speeds based on the respective detection values obtained from the plurality of rotation detection sensors. 4. The vehicle height adjustment device according to claim 3 , wherein the plurality of rotation detection sensors comprise a first rotation detection sensor and a second rotation detection sensor, and wherein the malfunction detector is configured to determine that the failure has occurred after a first speed based on a detection value detected by the first rotation detection sensor decreases from a value equal to or higher than a first reference speed to a value equal to or lower than a second reference speed in a reference period of time, and after a second speed based on a detection value detected by the second rotation detection sensor decreases from a value equal to or higher than the first reference speed to a value equal to or lower than the second reference speed in the reference period of time, and when a state in which both of the first speed and the second speed are equal to or lower than the second reference speed continues for a predetermined period of time. 5. The vehicle height adjustment device according to claim 1 , wherein the vehicle body position changing device comprises an actuator drivable when supplied with a current and configured to change the relative position, wherein the vehicle height controller comprises: an actuator driver configured to drive the actuator; and a relay configured to electrically connect the actuator driver with the actuator and electrically disconnect the actuator driver from the actuator, and wherein the vehicle height controller is configured to break the relay when the malfunction detector detects the failure. 6. The vehicle height adjustment device according to claim 2 , wherein the vehicle body position changing device comprises an actuator drivable when supplied with a current and configured to change the relative position, wherein the vehicle height controller comprises: an actuator driver configured to drive the actuator; and a relay configured to electrically connect the actuator driver with the actuator and electrically disconnect the actuator driver from the actuator, and wherein the vehicle height controller is configured to break the relay when the malfunction detector detects the failure. 7. The vehicle height adjustment device according to claim 3 , wherein the vehicle body position changing device comprises an actuator drivable when supplied with a current and configured to change the relative position, wherein the vehicle height controller comprises: an actuator driver configured to drive the actuator; and a relay configured to electrically connect the actuator driver with the actuator and electrically disconnect the actuator driver from the actuator, and wherein the vehicle height controller is configured to break the relay when the malfunction detector detects the failure. 8. The vehicle height adjustment device according to claim 4 , wherein the vehicle body position changing device comprises an actuator drivable when supplied with a current and configured to change the relative position, wherein the vehicle height controller comprises: an actuator driver configured to drive the actuator; and a relay configured to electrically connect the actuator driver with the actuator and electrically disconnect the actuator driver from the actuator, and wherein the vehicle height controller is configured to break the relay when the malfunction detector detects the failure.
