Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A display device including a display panel; a frame at a rear of the display panel, the frame including a bottom and a sidewall extending from the bottom; a substrate on the frame; a plurality of light sources mounted on the substrate; and a reflecting sheet on the substrate. The reflecting sheet includes a first sheet part on the bottom and having a rectangular shape with a first long side, a second long side opposite the first long side, a first short side adjacent to the first long side and the second long side, and a second short side opposite the first short side, the first sheet part comprising a plurality of holes corresponding to the plurality of light sources; a second sheet part extended from the first sheet part toward the side wall of the frame; and a plurality of dots on the second sheet part, wherein the plurality of dots reduces a reflectance of light, and wherein a size of the plurality of dots increases from a corner of the second sheet part in a first direction parallel to the long sides and a second direction parallel to the short sides.

What is claimed: 1. A display device comprising: a display panel; a frame at a rear of the display panel, the frame including a bottom and a sidewall extending from the bottom; a substrate on the frame; a plurality of light sources mounted on the substrate; and a reflecting sheet on the substrate, wherein the reflecting sheet includes: a first sheet part on the bottom and having a rectangular shape with a first long side, a second long side opposite the first long side, a first short side adjacent to the first long side and the second long side, and a second short side opposite the first short side, the first sheet part comprising a plurality of holes corresponding to the plurality of light sources; a second sheet part extended from the first sheet part toward the sidewall of the frame; and a plurality of dots on the second sheet part, wherein the plurality of dots reduces a reflectance of light from the reflecting sheet, and wherein a size of the plurality of dots increases from a corner of the second sheet part in a first direction parallel to the long sides or a second direction parallel to the short sides, wherein the plurality of dots on the second sheet part is arranged to form a first dot area, a second dot area next to the first dot area, and a third dot area next to the second dot area on the second sheet part, wherein the first dot area is a closest area to the corner of the second sheet part, the second dot area is farther from the corner of the second sheet part than the first dot area in the first direction or the second direction, and the third dot area is the farthest area from the corner of the second sheet part among the first dot area, the second dot area and the third dot area in the first direction or the second direction, and wherein a size of the dots in the first dot area is the same and is smaller than a size of the dots in the second dot area, and the size of the dots in the second dot area is the same and is smaller than a size of the dots in the third dot area, the size of the dots in the third dot area being the same. 2. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the size of the plurality of dots gradually changes along an outer side of the second sheet part from each corner of the second sheet part in the first direction or the second direction. 3. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the second sheet part comprises a cut line between a horizontal portion of the second sheet part arranged along the first direction and a vertical portion of the second sheet part arranged along the second direction. 4. The display device of claim 1 , wherein a first border line between the first dot area and the second dot area is not straight. 5. The display device of claim 1 , wherein a second border line between the second dot area and the third dot area is not straight. 6. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first dot area, the second dot area and the third dot area in the first direction form a horizontal dot area on the second sheet part, wherein the first dot area, the second dot area, and the third dot area in the second direction form a vertical dot area on the second sheet part, and wherein a width of the vertical dot area is different from a width of the horizontal dot area. 7. The display device of claim 6 , wherein the second dot area of the horizontal dot area is separated from a portion of the second sheet part around a cut line by a first angle and the second dot area of the vertical dot area is separated from the portion of the second sheet part around the cut line by a second angle, and wherein the first angle is different from the second angle. 8. The display device of claim 6 , wherein the first vertical dot area is the closest to a cut line among the first to third vertical dot areas, wherein the first horizontal dot area is the closest to the cut line among the first to third horizontal dot areas, and wherein an empty area without dots is positioned between the first vertical dot area and the first horizontal dot area around the cut line. 9. The display device of claim 6 , wherein the vertical dot area has a different shape than the horizontal dot area. 10. The display device of claim 9 , the width of the vertical dot area is greater than the width of the horizontal dot area. 11. The display device of claim 6 , wherein an outline of the vertical dot area or the horizontal dot area adjacent to the cut line is inclined with respect to the cut line. 12. The display device of claim 5 , wherein a first border line is substantially parallel with the second border line. 13. The display device of claim 1 , further comprising a separation space between the second sheet part of the reflecting sheet and the frame. 14. The display device of claim 1 , further comprising a signal line electrically connected to the substrate, wherein the frame includes a hole on the bottom of the frame, and wherein the signal line passes through the hole.
