What we claim is: 1. A ground freezing method comprising using a freeze pipe and an inner pipe extending into the freeze pipe, wherein a cooling agent selected from the group consisting of liquid nitrogen and aqueous saline solution is guided into the freeze pipe via the inner pipe, wherein a hollow body comprising a polymer material having a wall thickness less than 6 millimeters with an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the freeze pipe is introduced into the ground, and the freeze pipe is introduced into the hollow body, wherein a contact medium having a freeze point of at most 0° C. is introduced into a op between the hollow body and the freeze pipe and the freeze pipe and/or the contact medium are heated by an electric heater before removing the freeze pipe and the freeze pipe is removed from the hollow body after the ground has been frozen.
