Provided are computer implemented method and systems for providing and monitoring patient compliance with a patient healthcare treatment plan. The method includes receiving, from a healthcare provider over a network, application features for generating a patient application including patient instructions for using a medical therapy, and generating an application for a patient. The application includes at least an input for the user to input data for use in evaluating patient compliance with a treatment plan. In addition, the method includes receiving, from the healthcare provider over the network, a prescription for the application for the patient, and activating the application after the patient receives training on use of the application. The method also may include receiving patient compliance data from the application over the network based on the input.

What is claimed is: 1. A computer-implemented method, comprising: receiving, over a network, application features for generating an application including instructions for using a treatment plan; programmatically generating the application for a user to use on an electronic device by using the received application features; receiving, via the electronic device, a code authorizing the user to use the application, wherein the code is received by the user from a third party; after receiving the code: processing the code to determine if the user is authorized to use the application, after determining that the user is authorized, authorizing the user to use and activate the application; receiving input data from the user; using the input data from the user to evaluate user health; and sending electronic feedback to the user based on the input data and via the application. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising generating a medical profile of the user based on parsing an electronic medical record of the user. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising sending a report to a medical professional, based on the user health. 4. The method of claim 1 , further including automatically updating the application based on the received input data. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is a desktop computer, a game console, a laptop, a notebook, a palmtop, a tablet, a smartphone, or a smart book. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the electronic feedback includes an intervention. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of generating the application for the user includes electronically acquiring a national drug code number from the Food and Drug Administration. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of generating the application for the user includes acquiring a national provider identifier. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the national provider identifier is a unique 10-digit identification number issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the application is downloaded onto the electronic device. 11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the third party is pharmacy, retail store, insurance company, health care clinic, or laboratory. 12. The method of claim 1 , wherein the code is acquired by the user after the user receives a medical prescription from a medical professional having prescribing authority. 13. The method of claim 1 , further including, after activation, creating a personalized medical profile for the user. 14. The method of claim 13 , further including updating the personalized medical profile by applying one or more machine learning algorithms to input data received over time, wherein the one or more machine learning algorithms include decision tree learning, an association rule learning, an artificial neural network, an inductive logic programming, a support vector machine, a clustering, Bayesian networks, a reinforcement learning, a representation learning, a similarity and metric learning, or a sparse dictionary learning. 15. The method of claim 1 , wherein the user is diagnosed with diabetes, and the input data relates to the diabetes. 16. A system, comprising: a data storage device storing instructions for causing computer servers or mobile devices to one of generate or provide an application; and a processing device configured to execute instructions to perform a method of: receiving, over a network, application features for generating the application including instructions for using a treatment plan; programmatically generating the application for a user to use on an electronic device by using the received application features; receiving, via the electronic device, a code authorizing the user to use the application, wherein the code is received by the user from a third party; after receiving the code: processing the code to determine if the user is authorized to use the application, after determining that the user is authorized, authorizing the user to use and activate the application; receiving input data from the user; using the input data from the user to evaluate user health; and sending electronic feedback to the user based on the input data and via the application. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the user is diagnosed with diabetes, and the input data relates to the diabetes. 18. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to generate or provide an application, the instructions comprising: receiving, over a network, application features for generating the application including instructions for using a treatment plan; programmatically generating the application for a user to use on an electronic device by using the received application features; receiving, via the electronic device, a code authorizing the user to use the application, wherein the code is received by the user from a third party; after receiving the code: processing the code to determine if the use is authorized, after determining that the use is authorized, authorizing the user to use and activate the application; receiving input data from the user; using the input data from the user to evaluate user health; and sending electronic feedback to the user based on the input data and via the application. 19. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 18 , wherein the user is diagnosed with diabetes, and the input data relates to the diabetes. 20. The method of claim 1 , wherein the application features are received over the network from a healthcare provider.
