A method is provided for transmitting a synchronization signal by a Device-to-Device (D2D) user equipment (UE). The UE receives discovery transmission pool configuration information and synchronization signal resource information, and transmits the synchronization signal based on the discovery transmission pool configuration information and the synchronization signal resource information. When a first subframe of a discovery transmission pool indicated by the discovery transmission pool configuration information corresponds to a subframe indicated by the synchronization signal resource information, the synchronization signal is transmitted in the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool. Otherwise, when the first subframe does not correspond to the indicated subframe, the synchronization signal is transmitted in a subframe positioned before the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool and nearest to the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool among subframes indicated by the synchronization signal resource information. The discovery transmission pool is periodically configured.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for transmitting a synchronization signal by a Device-to-Device (D2D) user equipment (UE), the method comprising: receiving information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and information related to synchronization signal configuration; and transmitting the synchronization signal based on the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and the information related to synchronization signal configuration, wherein, when a first subframe of a discovery transmission pool indicated by the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration corresponds to a subframe indicated by the synchronization signal configuration, the synchronization signal is transmitted in the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool, wherein, when the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool indicated by the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration does not correspond to the subframe indicated by the information related to synchronization signal configuration, the synchronization signal is transmitted in a subframe positioned before the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool and nearest to the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool in subframes indicated by the information related to synchronization signal configuration, and wherein the discovery transmission pool is periodically configured. 2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the information related to synchronization signal configuration is applied to the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and D2D communication pool configuration information in a same manner. 3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the D2D UE is configured to perform type 2B discovery by higher layer signaling. 4. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising: transmitting, when information indicating a subframe for transmitting the synchronization signal is received from a base station, the synchronization signal in the indicated subframe for transmitting synchronization information. 5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the information related to synchronization signal configuration comprises at least one of a resource period, a transmission period, and a synchronization signal sequence. 6. A Device-to-Device (D2D) user equipment (UE) for transmitting a synchronization signal, the D2D UE comprising: a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a radio signal; and a processor configured to: control the transceiver to receive information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and information related to synchronization signal configuration, and control the transceiver to transmit the synchronization signal based on the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and the information related to synchronization signal configuration, wherein, when a first subframe of a discovery transmission pool indicated by the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration corresponds to a subframe indicated by the information related to synchronization signal configuration, the synchronization signal is transmitted in the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool, wherein, when the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool indicated by the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration does not correspond to the subframe indicated by the information related to synchronization signal configuration, the synchronization signal is transmitted in a subframe positioned before the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool and nearest to the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool in subframes indicated by the information related to synchronization signal configuration, and wherein the discovery transmission pool is periodically configured. 7. The D2D UE according to claim 6 , wherein the information related to synchronization signal configuration is applied to the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and D2D communication pool configuration information in a same manner. 8. The D2D UE according to claim 6 , wherein the D2D UE is configured to perform type 2B discovery by higher layer signaling. 9. The D2D UE according to claim 6 , wherein the processor is further configured to: control the transceiver to transmit, when information indicating a subframe for transmitting the synchronization signal is received from a base station, the synchronization signal in the indicated subframe for transmitting synchronization information. 10. The D2D UE according to claim 6 , wherein the information related to synchronization signal configuration comprises at least one of a resource period, a transmission period, and a synchronization signal sequence. 11. A method for transmitting a synchronization signal by a Device-to-Device (D2D) user equipment (UE), the method comprising: receiving information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and information related to synchronization signal configuration; and transmitting the synchronization signal based on the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and the information related to synchronization signal configuration, wherein the synchronization signal is transmitted in a subframe which is positioned before a first subframe of a discovery transmission pool and is nearest to the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool, and wherein the discovery transmission pool is periodically configured. 12. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the first subframe and the subframe are indicated as subframes for transmission of the synchronization signal by the information related to synchronization signal configuration. 13. The method according to claim 11 , wherein a period of the discovery transmission pool is 320 ms, 640 ms, 1280 ms, 2560 ms, 5120 ms, or 10240 ms. 14. A Device-to-Device (D2D) user equipment (UE) for transmitting a synchronization signal, the D2D UE comprising: a receiver; a transmitter; and a processor configured to: control the receiver to receive information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and information related to synchronization signal configuration, and control the transmitter to transmit the synchronization signal based on the information related to discovery transmission pool configuration and the information related to synchronization signal configuration, wherein the processor is further configured to control the transmitter to transmit the synchronization signal in a subframe which is positioned before a first subframe of a discovery transmission pool and is nearest to the first subframe of the discovery transmission pool, and wherein the discovery transmission pool is periodically configured. 15. The D2D UE according to claim 14 , wherein the first subframe and the subframe are indicated as subframes for transmission of the synchronization signal by the information related to synchronization signal configuration. 16. The D2D UE according to claim 14 , wherein a period of the discovery transmission pool is 320 ms, 640 ms, 1280 ms, 2560 ms, 5120 ms, or 10240 ms.
