The isolation valve of claim 1 , wherein the upper flapper opens upwardly and the lower flapper opens downwardly. 3. The isolation valve of claim 2 , further comprising: an opener detent operable to resist opening of the lower flapper. 4. The isolation valve of claim 3 , wherein each detent comprises: a choke passage having a flow restrictor disposed therein; and a bypass passage having a check valve disposed therein. 5. The isolation valve of claim 3 , further comprising: an upper flapper spring biasing the upper flapper toward the open position, wherein the upper piston is operable to close the upper flapper. 6. The isolation valve of claim 5 , wherein lower ends of the opener and closer passages are located above the upper flapper. 7. The isolation valve of claim 5 , wherein: the lower piston is part of a flow tube, and an upper flapper chamber is formed between the flow tube and the housing, and a lower flapper chamber is formed between the flow tube and the housing. 8. The isolation valve of claim 2 , further comprising: an upper flapper spring biasing the upper flapper toward the closed position, wherein the upper piston is operable to open the upper flapper. 9. The isolation valve of claim 8 , wherein: an upper closing chamber is formed between the upper piston and the housing, the isolation valve further comprises an upper seat, an upper passage is formed between the upper piston and upper seat, and the upper passage is in fluid communication with the upper closing chamber and a bore of the isolation valve. 10. The isolation valve of claim 8 , further comprising: an opener detent operable to resist opening of the lower flapper. 11. The isolation valve of claim 1 , wherein the upper flapper opens downwardly and the lower flapper opens upwardly. 12. An isolation assembly for use in a wellbore, comprising: the isolation valve of claim 1 ; a downhole hydraulic power unit for operating the isolation valve and comprising: a tubular housing having a bore formed therethrough; a tubular mandrel disposed in the housing, movable relative to the tubular housing, and having a profile formed through a wall of the tubular housing for receiving a driver of a shifting tool; and a piston operably coupled to the mandrel and operable to pump hydraulic fluid to at least one of the opener passage and closer passage. 13. The isolation valve of claim 1 , wherein the closer detent is configured to close the lower flapper and then the upper flapper. 14. The isolation valve of claim 1 , wherein the lower piston moves upward to close the lower flapper and the upper piston moves downward to close the upper flapper. 15. An isolation valve for use in a wellbore, comprising: a tubular housing; an upper flapper disposed in the housing and pivotable relative to the tubular housing between an open position and a closed position; an upper piston operable to open or close the upper flapper; a lower flapper disposed in the housing and pivotable relative to the tubular housing between an open position and a closed position; a lower piston operable to open the lower flapper; an opener passage in fluid communication with the pistons and an opener hydraulic coupling; a closer passage in fluid communication with the pistons and a closer hydraulic coupling; and a closer detent comprising a choke passage in fluid communication with the upper and lower pistons and operable to supply more fluid from the closer passage to the upper piston than the lower piston. 16. The isolation valve of claim 15 , wherein the upper flapper opens upwardly and the lower flapper opens downwardly. 17. The isolation valve of claim 16 , further comprising: an opener detent comprising a choke passage operable to supply more fluid from the opener passage to lower piston than the upper piston. 18. The isolation valve of claim 17 , wherein the choke passage of the closer detent comprises a flow restrictor. 19. The isolation valve of claim 18 , wherein the closer detent further comprises a bypass passage having a check valve disposed therein. 20. The isolation valve of claim 17 , further comprising: an upper flapper spring biasing the upper flapper toward the open position, wherein the upper piston is operable to close the upper flapper. 21. The isolation valve of claim 17 , wherein lower ends of the opener and closer passages are located above the upper flapper. 22. The isolation valve of claim 21 , wherein: the lower piston is part of a flow tube, and an upper flapper chamber is formed between the flow tube and the housing, and a lower flapper chamber is formed between the flow tube and the housing. 23. The isolation valve of claim 16 , further comprising: an upper flapper spring biasing the upper flapper toward the closed position, wherein the upper piston is operable to open the upper flapper. 24.
