A kitchen sink and cabinet assembly includes an apron-front sink including at least one basin and an apron positioned forward of the at least one basin and a standard cabinet base that includes a front wall. A first side wall and a second side wall are coupled to the front wall, and the first and second side walls each have a height of approximately 34.5 inches and are separated from each other by a distance selected from the group consisting of approximately 30, 33, and 36 inches. The cabinet includes a drawer opening located in the front wall above a door. The apron extends in front of the front wall of the cabinet and is wider than the drawer opening such that the drawer opening is concealed by the apron when the apron is installed on the standard cabinet base.

What is claimed is: 1. A kitchen sink and cabinet assembly comprising: an apron-front sink comprising at least one basin and an apron positioned forward of, and spaced apart from, a front wall of the at least one basin; and a standard cabinet base comprising: a front wall; a first side wall and a second side wall coupled to the front wall, wherein the first and second side walls each have a height of 34.5 inches and are separated from each other by a distance, wherein the distance is selected from the group consisting of 30 inches, 33 inches, and 36 inches; at least one door configured to allow access to an interior of the standard cabinet base; and a drawer opening located in the front wall above the at least one door; wherein the apron extends in front of the front wall of the cabinet and is wider than the drawer opening such that the drawer opening is concealed by the apron when the apron is installed on the standard cabinet base; and wherein at least a portion of the front wall of the standard cabinet base below the drawer opening is received between the apron and the front wall of the at least one basin. 2. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the distance is 30 inches. 3. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the distance is 33 inches. 4. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the distance is 36 inches. 5. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the standard cabinet base comprises a support coupled to the first side wall, wherein the apron-front sink includes a rim, and wherein the rim is positioned on the support. 6. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the support is screwed to the first side wall. 7. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the at least one door is two doors below the drawer opening. 8. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the apron has a top end and a bottom end and the distance between the top end and the bottom end is between 6 and 7 inches. 9. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 8 , wherein the apron-front sink has a rim extending from an upper surface thereof and the top end of the apron is coplanar with the rim. 10. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a countertop above the standard cabinet base and apron-front sink. 11. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the apron-front sink comprises stainless steel. 12. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the apron-front sink further comprises a rim coupling the apron to the at least one basin at an upper end of the at least one basin, and wherein the rim is the only support extending between the at least one basin and the apron. 13. The kitchen sink and cabinet assembly of claim 1 , wherein the entire apron is positioned in front of the front wall of the standard cabinet base. 14. A method of assembling an apron-front sink on a standard kitchen cabinet base, the method comprising: providing a standard cabinet base that comprises: a front wall; a first side wall and a second side wall coupled to the front wall, wherein the first and second side walls each have a height of 34.5 inches and are separated from each other by a distance, wherein the distance is selected from the group consisting of 30 inches, 33 inches, and 36 inches; at least one door configured to allow access to an interior of the standard cabinet base; and at least one drawer opening located in the front wall above the at least one door; adding an apron-front sink to the cabinet, wherein the apron-front sink comprises at least one basin and an apron spaced apart from a front wall of the at least one basin, wherein the apron is wider than the at least one drawer opening; wherein adding the apron-front sink to the cabinet comprises positioning the apron in front of the front wall so as to conceal the at least one drawer opening; and wherein at least a portion of the front wall of the standard cabinet base below the at least one drawer opening is received between the apron and the at least one basin. 15. The method of claim 14 , further comprising cutting the front wall to remove material above the at least one drawer opening prior to adding the apron-front sink to the cabinet. 16. The method of claim 14 , further comprising removing a rail above the at least one drawer opening prior to adding the apron-front sink to the cabinet. 17. The method of claim 14 , wherein the cabinet further comprises a first support coupled to the first side wall and a second support coupled to the second side wall, and adding the apron-front sink to the cabinet comprises placing an upper rim of the apron-front sink on the first support and the second support. 18. The method of claim 17 , wherein adding the apron-front sink to the cabinet comprises sliding the sink along the first and second supports. 19. The method of claim 14 , wherein the at least one drawer opening is two drawer openings and the method further comprises removing a center support located between the two drawer openings prior to adding the apron-front sink to the cabinet. 20. The method of claim 14 , further comprising removing a false front from in front of the at least one drawer opening prior to adding the apron-front sink. 21. The method of claim 14 , further comprising moving the apron-front sink through the drawer opening until a rear surface of the apron contacts the front wall. 22. The method of claim 14 , further comprising coupling a countertop to the standard base cabinet.
